With Adun Oakenshield as the commander, you can reliably cast a creature for fairly cheap that allows you to reach into your graveyard.

Black in this deck functions primarily as a way to pull creatures from the grave and keep your hand and battlefield full.

Green functions as the supply of fatties and ramp.

Red allows for some burn/removal and providing more creatures.
