http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/rwb-kaalia/ thats my Kaalia deck, maybe it would help u make yours more competitive
more protection for Kaalia and maybe some lower costed ADDs might ease the deck's reliance on Kaalia

@Jeff2302 Thanks for the suggestion! And I definitely think you're right about giving Kaalia some more help on the field. Just looking at your list, I think that two wonderful additions would be Hallowed Burial as well as Earnest Fellowship . However, I would like to note that I'm still in school and don't have $2700 to spend on a deck right now. I think that I've already explained that I don't need this deck to be competitive, simply to be fun to play. Both of the aforementioned cards are below $10, but you have things such as Moat and Mana Crypt that make your deck unique and strong that I simply don't have the resources for. I greatly appreciate your input though, and if you have any suggestions for cards that are both cheap and more effective than what I already have, I would love to hear them. Thanks Jeff!

Darksteel Plate imo is lacking in commander as my Kaalia tends to either get tucked or exiled, perhaps replace it with Defense Grid , Mother of Runes , Grand Abolisher , they all help with either keeping Kaalia alive or help against our worst match up (blue and its counter spells)
Council's Judgment , Chaos Warp , Oblation are all great single removals that are more permanent in Commander
Baneslayer Angel could also be a great addition and Indulgent Tormentor is a guaranteed 3 each turn or a sac, while at times towards the end of games, it allows u to draw an extra card
Are you running this deck for multiplayer or 1v1? If its multiplayer i would strongly suggest against Dragon Mage and Wheel of Fortune , while it is true that Kaalia can run out of cards to play, if you cast those in a 3 player multiplayer even, u are giving away 14 cards while taking 7 each time; which will in turn let them find answers to your Kaalia
+1 to your deck from a fellow Kaalia user

Thanks Jeff2302, I appreciate your help, and those seem like sound suggestions. I'll probably side board in Dragon Mage and Wheel of Fortune for when I'm playing some not so serious games, as I play a lot at school. Also, those removal spells are a great idea! Thanks for reminding me to use some more tuck, its a fantastic form of removal. As for the creatures, I haven't looked much at the M15 cards, so Indulgent Tormentor went right over my head :/, I'll find a spot for it. Thank you so much for your help on the deck!

Platinum Angel if u want to be mean lol and baneslayer angel for a super OP angel along with BOROS CHARM and LIGHNING HELIX/BOLT for the double strike swing or indestructibility or some nice sweet burn and life gain. Also u need to loose a bunch of stuff previously mentioned like sorin and others becuase u can use those slots a lot more efficiently. Quicksilver Amulet might be a good idea as back up for Kaalia and a card that not many people add to there decks for some reason i will never no but so long as u r running white, GHOSTLY PRISON can be the difference between u and ur opponent winning. It slows creature decks down immensly allowing u to build up and strengthen not to mention it allows u to attack more knowing that your opponent cant respond with as many creatures potentially in return. Take these thoughts to heart but honestly this deck is pretty solid as it is. The only risk is if u dont have 4 mana or kaalia gets bottomed or exiled really early.HMU if u want more detailed suggestions

@SaltyDog Thanks for the feedback! I've thought of putting in a plat angel, but tbh, I don't like the card that much, just a personal preference. I agree with the Boros Charm , that card is stupid powerful, I actually thought that I already had it in here, what would you suggest that I replace? (Besides Sorin) in my opinion, small removal such as Lightning Helix/Bolt aren't very useful in EDH as people usually have much larger things to deal with than something with only 3 toughness. Sorin is quite strong in EDH, simply because of his -3, which can be a "Target player loses 30 health". Also, I don't know about Ghostly Prison , as I'm not really gonna need to mitigate people attacking, because if the deck is working, I should have things that can block. If not, something is going very wrong. I agree with the Quicksilver Amulet , definitely. What would you take out for it? Thanks so much for your help on the deck!

What about Strionic Resonator ? That would be a sick combo with your commander. Tossing down two huge creatures per turn.
September 20, 2014 8:36 p.m.
@JustJoshingU That sounds great, I guess I must have missed that in the core set from last year. What do you think that I should take out for it?

Love this deck. +1 Only potential problem I see is Mycosynth Lattice and Ashes to Ashes don't work well together if you happened to have them in the same game. Love seeing Rune-Scarred Demon in there.

Thanks man! I'll check that out, I don't know if mycosynth lattice has a huge place in this deck, I may yet replace it, thanks for your support!

This deck rocks! Mycosynth Lattice in my opinion has no place being there since most of the time you kill someone at a minimum of turn 5 or 6

@Vedar666 Hmm, I've put a lot of thought into that decision, do you have any particular alternatives that you think might fit better?
November 16, 2014 6:30 p.m.
Wellin my opinion there should be another draw ability besides the three you have. But that would only be for long games or when you are facing multiple people. Generally when I've played your deck I've been able to deal at least 40 damage by turn 6. In case you end up playing against more opponents, you may need something to help you draw the creatures you need to win quickly. I see you already have a few search cards already as well as Dragon Mage so maybe its a bit unnecessary. In that case, instead of trying to rely on Strionic Resonator to duplicate the abilities, you can have Illusionist's Bracers in there as well to have a higher chance of not only summoning things with your commander, but also activating creature effects like Lord of the Void

Great deck! A guy in my playgroup is currently building a deck like this and from the looks of it, I think I should be scared.
I'm surprised Quicksilver Amulet hasn't been suggested yet.

I'm just curious why you opted to use scry lands instead of fetches. In a deck like yours, i'd use fetches, shock lands, filter lands, check lands and duals.
Ever considered using cards like Armageddon, Decree of Annihilation (instead of decree of pain) and Infernal Darkness? They can help you capitalize on an early Kaalia especially if you have an Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Iona, Shield of Emeria in play.
Lastly, Vampiric Tutor and Enlightened Tutor.

Have you considered added Utter End and Vindicate? Vindicate hits those pesky things like Maze of Ith, and Utter End takes care that Avacyn facing you from the other side of the board.
I'm not entirely sure how much Victory's Herald is doing in here. Most of your creatures already have flying. If you want lifelink, just run Whip of Erebos and get a second awesome ability.
I almost forgot to mention Fervor. It's a wonderful card. Also, if you can afford them, the fetches in your colors (Bloodstained Mire, etc.) are great for getting the colors you need.
Good luck, and if you want, you can check out my Kaalia deck There Are No Brakes On The Revenge Train. It's been optimized for duel commander but you might find some ideas.
December 7, 2014 4:55 p.m.
@Megalomania I've thought about all of those cards. Armageddon and the like weren't added simply because I don't want to rely too heavily on Kaalia. Even though it's what the deck is based around, having no second plan would be extremely dangerous. It's a high risk, high reward move that I believe is more of a personal choice. Of course, it has it's moments, but in playtesting i found that it wasn't useful as often as I would like. With the scry lands and tutors, I wasnt running those because I was trying to keep the price nice and low. Those cards would add on another $300, which again, is a personal choice.
@ThisIsBullshit I had thought of Vindicate, and again, money was an issue. I do think that Utter End would be a great addition. Fervor would also be great. The reason that I kept in Victory's Herald was just the sheer efficiency and beating power of it. The lands, I had the same issue with money, another personal choice for how you want to interpret the optimal form of this deck. I'll make sure to check out your deck.
Both of you, thank you for your additions! I'll make sure to think about each edit carefully.
