Hi and welcome to my version of Standard Slivers!
Today I bring you a green based shell. This shell is aggro-based but is based on stabilizing and not dying.Currently i'm stting at 79% win rate in over 60 best of 3s including a lot of Tier 1s
The green means
Elvish Mystic
Manaweft Sliver
Predatory Sliver
Venom Sliver
Megantic Sliver
And more importantly - Chord of Calling-Fixing your board early with a strong presence of green, getting your wincons
Golgari Charm-surviving wraths
The important pieces :
1 drops
Striking Sliver - with Venom Sliver you can last quite a few turns without problems
Galerider Sliver - Evasion anyone?
The callables
Thorncaster Sliver - with Venom Sliver dare I say more?
Sliver Hivelord - Turn 4 callable, turn 3 castable. Game winner.
Megantic Sliver - That 'humph' you need to finish.
Bonescythe Sliver - Sometimes you lack mana for the big guys and Striker isnt on the board. can act as az finisher.
Syphon Sliver - Sometimes you just need it.
The Mana base
Sliver Hive, Mana Confluence Are a given
No temples because they are too slow and you usually never say "oh not this sliver!".
Pain lands are a must, they are so much better than shocks.
6 shocks because i needed more blue and more fixing.
The sideboard
Back to Nature - i have green in the deck, hurrdurr.
Banishing Light - Sometimes some creatures are just to strong and without removal, it's really hard to handle. Descecrated demon and Prophet of Kruphix come to mind
Cyclonic Rift - Almost a mainboard. "Coming through!"Magma Spray - Voice?
Phyrexian Revoker - A pithing needle that attacks and breaks Sylvan Caryatid? sure.
Serene Remembrance -- Not too sure about this one. Sometimes you need to bring back stuff without hindering your mana too much
Wear / Tear Sometimes theres just some small annoyances.
The Pros
Easily wins VS other creature decks.
Wins against most controls that dont remove everything on the spot.
The Cons
Weak against creature hate
Comments, suggestions welcome. Try to stay out of the "obvious stuff", this is an ironed out version.
