Edited from the commercially available "Counterpunch" deck. My goal with this deck is to turn any resource into saprolings, and saprolings into any resource using Ghave, Guru of Spores and usually +1/+1 counter generation. So far I've got:

-Life into saprolings: Unspeakable Symbol/Lifedrinker

-Cards in hand into saprolings: Nature's Blessing

-Cards in graveyard into saprolings: Necrogenesis/Scavenging Ooze (already present in base deck)

-Saprolings into life: Spike Feeder (already present in base deck)

-Saprolings into damage or loss of life: Triskelion or Golgari Rotwurm

-Saprolings into card draw: Psychotrope Thallid

-Saprolings into mana: Utopia Mycon and Phyrexian Altar and (to a lesser extent) Fertilid

I also added some infinite combos...improbable, but fun to hope for! Infinite Lifegain: Ghave, Guru of Spores + Utopia Mycon + Scavenger Drake + Suture Priest

There are other variations, but the theme is the same.

I also added some cards that are just mean with this deck on their own (looking at you Mycoloth).

I've always tried to uphold the flavor of the deck though. It's all about fungus.
