This is mean. I don't play any Legacy, so I'm not familiar with the field, but this looks pretty solid. The one thing I see that could be a problem is the lack of removal. Maybe add some Path to Exile to just make sure you get rid of anything that does manage to hit the board. But again, I'm no Legacy expert, so I'm not sure if that's necessarily a good idea.

Swords to Plowshares is probably a tad better than Path to Exile ...

I have 4 StP and 3 relic-warder for removal. Dont really like PtE Without Aven Mindcensor . Im gonna put 2-3 in the sideboard for creatureheavy matchups tho :)

Have you considered the Phyrexian Metamorph and Leonin Relic-Warder combo? I include it in my Soul Sista deck. It is a modern version of the white weenie strategy, but it has a tad more life gain, and has the combo. For a full description of the morph/warder combo, look at the description in my deck. Any recommendations on it will be awesome as well.

maybe swap out 4 plains for 4 Ancient Den and add in a few Dispatch since you run if you add the artifact lands 12 artifacts.
December 27, 2013 8:19 p.m.
That would be 20 artifacts, including Ethersworn Canonist and Spellskite ;). I like it. It might be a little too situational, playtesting will decide that. What do you suggest to take out?

swords to plowshares it's swapping removal that gives back for removal that doesnt without adding mana costs

because with fully 1/3 of your deck artifacts getting three on field to kick Dispatch should be child's play but maybe keep the STp in sideboard for incredibly creature heavy aggro opponents

and also if you really need the xtra artifacts blinkmoth can turn itself into a tapped artifact bringing you up to 24 available artifacts

and perhaps sideboard one or two Nearheath Pilgrim for times you need a little extra lifegain

maybe drop a Leonin Relic-Warder and a Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and then just have a 62 card deck

I think Mirran Crusader may just be a better three-drop over Silverblade Paladin , because it dodges hard removal like Maelstrom Pulse , Abrupt Decay , Pernicious Deed , and all hard black removal. Watch out for burn StP and PtE though. This also gives the added bonus of punching through cards like Dark Confidant Tarmogoyf Griselbrand Deathrite Shaman Shardless Agent Baleful Strix Knight of the Reliquary and the like. I would also recommend that canonist and revoker switch places from your sideboard. Revoker can hit nonland mana abilities like Lion's Eye Diamond , Chrome Mox , Mox Diamond , and Lotus Petal and can also hit people's cards like Sneak Attack Griselbrand and the like, while canonist is an effective storm hoser and that is about it. I think you will get more for your two-drop slot.

PoxMaster: Ive gone back and forth between Silverblade and mirran crusader. I settled on Silverblade because its a bit faster. With an equipped creature out it can swing with double strike the same turn you play Silverblade. Mirran crusaders protection is nice, but you have to deal with summoning sickness and then pay to equip stuff to him. Mother of runes and the 2 swords gives protection to silverblade, and spellskite takes care of targeted removal.
I definitely like the revoker, and it could be a good idea to run him mainboard. Alto, i think cannonist is a better card for when you dont know what your opponent are playing, and therefore better in mainboard. And it does not just shut down storm, with cannonist and mom/spellskite your opponent cant 2-for-1 your threats. Also, it slows down burn decks, black discard and other decks that want to play multiple spells.
December 29, 2013 11:08 a.m.
About the "2-for-1 your threats thing": You run 28 dudes, so if you let them two for one themselves on one of your guys, then that should really not the end of the world for you. If a burn deck really has to throw two bolts at a guy, then that is six damage not going to your face. If they have to throw an Abrupt Decay AND a Maelstrom Pulse under the bus to kill one of your guys, you are tying up five mana by simply tapping a Mother of Runes . That is a winning proposition for you, unless a Dark Confidant trigger has been activated twice. Also, with all your non-artifact pressure, Ethersworn Canonist restricts your turns to "play a guy, maybe Swords to Plowshares something, hope a Stoneforge Mystic is active or on board." Since you do not run Karakas , Rishadan Port or Wasteland , to give you access to "spells" when the canonist is in play, why even restrict yourself in game one and risk just being out-carded by something like Jund or something like True-Name Nemesis equipped with an Umezawa's Jitte ? Especially in game one? AEther Vial does help, but that takes time to set up. You are not as hasty as goblins, sir.
With regards to silverblade paladin versus mirran crusader, I feel that the faster clock will serve you well versus combo aggro-race match-ups, but I think Silverblade may not serve you as well in the midrange creature matches. I think having both would be fantastic in your seventy-five, at the very least.
And don't worry about burn and discard. If discard really gets your goat then you can always play Wilt-Leaf Liege
or Leyline of Sanctity
. And your manabase is so simple that burn will be forced to drag out the game because their main incentive to the deck, Price of Progress
, is useless against you. It will be grindy, but you should win.

Have you thought about side-boarding a few Soltari Monk and Soltari Priest you don't get the search your library advantage as with Squadron Hawk but they are more evasive and have built in protection.

MangoPunch: Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't worked so much on my sideboard since we are not using sideboards in my playgroup. We are gonna start soon and then i will consider the soltaris..

What about putting in 1 Inkmoth Nexus as a crazy wincon out of left field? Maybe that's way dumb, I don't really play legacy.
January 7, 2014 4:22 a.m.
Inkmoth Nexus could work with a sword or jitte, but that's a ten-turn clock- that's not too promising. I like Oblivion Ring as an end-all removal- also, a Hellkite Tyrant would play hell with the deck, pardon the pun. What about BOTH Path to Exile and Swords to Plowshares ? Nothing wrong with removal.

i like the deck a lot. Just, on the sideboard you have 4 Leonin Relic-Warder s and 4 Phyrexian Revoker s, and you can't have more than 4 of either in you're deck because they are already in you're deck. I'd change the sideboard to having 2 Leonin Relic-Warder s and you can not have any Phyrexian Revoker s. But good job!!!

Damn. Now this is a very good cheaper version of a Death and Taxes deck. Very well done indeed. Also; would any of you guys want to check out the deck I have online? Cause I have a new mono green devotion deck that might interest y'all devotion players out there. And feel free to check out the other decks that I have posted up there as well.
