The problem with Brimaz is that he's a better defensive creature than he is offensive, token production regardless.

Mirran Crusader are much better than Brimaz, King of Oreskos in this deck. With equipments he gets 4 jitte counters / draw 2 cards + 2 free Shock or becomes an 6/6 double strike vigilance lifelink pro black and green.

Plus, he ALWAYS beats Tarmogoyf in a fight, which counts for a lot.

Have you considered Aven Mindcensor and moving Spirit of the Labyrinth to the main over four copies of Mirran Crusader ? Leonin Arbiter would be another choice.
With library search denial, you could play Ghost Quarter s. Those also synergize with Flagstones of Trokair since you can hit your own lands and dig up two Plains .
I like Serra Avenger as your other choice because you can cheat it out with AEther Vial . I don't know that I'd play a full four, though.
The other cards to consider are Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Mangara of Corondor . You're also missing a 60th. card. I don't know if that was intentional until you could find something to fill that slot, but I'd recommend that be a 23rd. land in the form of Horizon Canopy . The draw power is relevant if you get flooded.

Drop in 4 Horizon Canopy and 4 Rishadan Port where the Mishra's Factory and Flagstones of Trokair are when you can.
Think about Cataclysm in the sideboard. It helps your matchup against control/midrange decks. Manriki-Gusari is great against other Stoneforge Mystic decks.

I actually don't want Path to Exile in my sideboard, mainly because this deck is all about denial.. 4 STP are probably enough. Thanks for your comment tho..

The maindeck is pretty bog standard, sans the 4 sotl. I am not sure I like the card that much, but local metas infested with Brainstorm may change this.
The main question come in the sideboard. I disagree with 1 Pneedle, 1 RIP, 2 Seals and 2 aegis, 2 sunlance.
Aegis comes in too late to protect vs most effects and is easily disrupted. Seals do not provide too much value at all and DnT does not really need this kind of effect. 1 RIP can become Grafdigger's Cage to catch reanimator and dredge decks a turn earlier. 6 Pneedle effects is way too much. Sunlance is not really effective vs most decks.
Instead try 2 Cataclysm vs the control decks, 2 Council's Judgment for literally anything and especially TNNs. , 1 Grafdigger's Cage that was already mentioned. Gutshot seems like a better version of Sunlance . the Pneedle can become a Sword of Feast and Famine for the various DRS decks.

Thanks for your suggestions Boza. The main reason for running Spirit of the Labyrinth are elves. Elves are the worst matchup, and Spirit of the Labyrinth takes care of Glimpse of Nature . Also Griselbrand in reanimate/tinfins. Flashing in Spirit of the Labyrinth with AEther Vial as a response to Brainstorm are just really really fun. Im still testing and i like it :)
The seals in the sideboard are a local thing i guess. There are plenty of decks running Ensnaring Bridge in my meta. Sunlance should be seen as Swords to Plowshares #5 & 6 against elves and other creature based decks. Gut Shot is just 1 damage so its less useful.
I will try out Cataclysm and Sword of Feast and Famine

Gut shot kills the important elves - quiron, heritige druid, symbiote, birchlore. The bigger problem for the deck with elves is something like t2 or t3 Natural Order into progenitus or Spaghetti Overlord. That is very hard to deal with. Gut shot works very well against other decks as well - Delver when unflipped, Thalia and mom and revoker and flickerwisp in the mirror...
Lowering the mana cost is key in this deck to be able to hate on multiple things per turn.
Additional sideboard tech include Celestial Flare for Emrakul and TNN, Land Tax vs control (played even in the main), Engineered Explosives - deals with a lot of things, but mostly tokens. Holy Light vs elves, TNN and empty the warrens, Manriki-Gusari for the mirror and Stoneblade Decks, Ethersworn Canonist vs anything really. Abolish is the better version of Seal, Meekstone vs almost any decks, but TNN-based decks are hit hard.
The sideboards are the most varied thing in the deck by far.

Is a singleton magus of the moon worth the red splash at all?
August 18, 2016 4:10 a.m.
Boza i think it is. 3 Recruiter of the Guard can tutor for him making him much more consistent even as a 1-of.
since Recruiter of the Guard comes down turn 3 as earliest (t4 with vial) we need a creature that has big impact at that state, and for that Magus is the best one i can think of.
The changes to the mana base to support it is +1 Cavern of Souls, 2 Plateau and 2 Arid Mesa and while that opens us up to Wasteland it keeps wasteland away from Rishadan Port and Karakas that are much more important. also, the 4 AEther Vial doesnt care about color ;). Cavern of Souls is a great card by itself, and naming human not only protects Thalia from counters, it also helps us cast the double white in Sanctum Prelate and the red in Magus of the Moon.

She might be a bit slow, but have you thought about running Thalia, Heretic Cathar possibly in the sideboard? She slows down the other side of the table, which may help, plus being a 3/2 means she's able to be tutored with the Recruiter of the Guard.
Only other thing I can think of as maybe useful are copies of Relic of Progenitus, mostly because it's a nice combo of graveyard hate plus card draw if needed.

fluffyeel, I have considered Thalia, Heretic Cathar alot. I think she would be best as a 2-3 of since you want her turn 3. Its just really hard finding room for her right now. She is a 3-drop and after adding 3x Recruiter of the Guard and 1x Sanctum Prelate the list has a much higher curve than before. Testing will tell if adding more 3-drops is ok.
Do you have any suggestions for how I should make room for her?
PS. I just finished writing a description for the deck, listing untouchable cards and flex spots to give a better overview of what changes could be done. Take a look :)

Looking at it, here's more of what I'm thinking if you want to go the Thalia route:
Eldrazi Displacer, while fun, both isn't tutorable by Recruiter and doesn't work well with your mana base. Ten out of your 23 lands produce the colorless mana needed for the flicker effect (and, let's face it, the Rishadan Ports really should be used for mana as sparingly as possible), and that number drops to zero if Magus of the Moon's in play.
Sanctum Prelate, oddly enough, would be more of a sideboard option for me as opposed to a mainboard. I'm not really seeing too many match-ups where you would need the Prelate in play on game one (or, if you want the Prelate in play, you need it in a LOT faster), plus having only one makes actually getting it (even with tutoring) a bit hard.
September 19, 2016 3:35 p.m.
fluffyeel Well said. Im iffy about Displacer myself, he is a bit slow. Sanctum Prelate needs to be tested a bit more. Im gonna try Thalia 2.0 in these spots as soon as I tested this list enough. Thanks :)

Because you are using an Enlightened Tutor in the sideboard, I would replace one of the Disenchants with a Seal of Cleansing.
I would also consider shaving something for a 2nd Prelate in the main. That card has seriously over-performed for me. If space wasn't so tight, I would probably try to squeeze a 3rd into my own list.
If you'd like to take a look, you can see my own list here.

Have you considered Brimaz, King of Oreskos ? It can definitely be a game ender and doesn't die to bolt. You can also try some number of Ghost Quarter depending on your meta, many Legacy decks don't run any basics, essentially making it a Wasteland .
