ClassyShinobi, thanks for the comment!
I always want to add more 2/3 drops to improve the curve. However having Deathrite Shaman allows me to cast a 2 drop like Tarmogoyf without tapping out. This way I still have mana to cast Ponder, Brainstorm, Disfigure, Thoughtseize, Spell Pierce. Sometimes it goes T1 DRS, T2 land > ponder > Drs activation as well
Since this deck is basically play delver, disrupt, cast dig, disrupt, and win I find this type of curve to be bonkers with DR. Santa
I need that extra mana for Thoughtseize and Spell Pierce considering how widely consistent Omni-Tell and TES are right now.

ClassyShinobi, now that dig is gone I have a much more established curve! Woohoo this deck is back in the drivers seat now :)

shadow63, Thanks!! I have been tuning this deck for months and I am really happy with where it is at right now. I wish I could afford a couple Flusterstorm for the side, but otherwise I feel pretty darn good about it :).

The almost k price tag isn't enough lol but this looks like it'd be just so hard to beat unless you bob two force of wills

how often does a t1 delver flip? it seem like you would want at least 5 more i/s to be consistent
also, the price is almost entirely due to duals putting it that far over a modern deck

lordmalphas; I don't have much trouble with the T1 delver tbh. I do run less I/S than is optimal to always flip T1 delvers, however the benefit I get from main board Liliana of the Veil and Dark Confidant is usually worth the lower I/S count. (These are really the only 4 slots I could change)
Also, I often lead with Deathrite Shaman which then allows me to play a turn 2 Liliana of the Veil or Tarmogoyf + Brainstorm etc. Since I am packing Brainstorm and Ponder flipping a delver after T1 is usually really easy.

aright, i understand the deck more now that you say that. this is focused more on the longer games (as much as legacy can have those) than the more aggressive variants you might see (and which i play myself, probably influencing my initial thoughts)

Disclaimer: I have virtually no experience with the legacy format. I'm on the outside looking in (through a very narrow keyhole), but please consider what I have to say before immediately glossing over it.
Consider Blackmail. No, seriously, it isn't jank--genuinely think about it for a moment. I can't really get any more specific than that, I'm afraid--no actual cuts to suggest. From what I'm seeing, your build is pretty solid, but, as I've already established, my paradigm here is far from ideal. You might see it differently, though. Sorry that I can't offer up any more help.

NoOneOfConsequence, thanks for your suggestion! I have never considered it before, but I think that Blackmail has potential with Hymn to Tourach. Ideally I get to hymn on t2 and then blackmail and play a goyf on turn 3, wrecking his hand. I'll test it on cockatrice to give it a try!

I think maybe it'd be nice to have more 3 & 4 drops that matter a lot since you have the Deathrite Shaman ramp but not much to take advantage of it.
