My second modern deck, as opposed to the first (Mono Green Elf Aggro), this is more a control based deck!
Lands:
Haven of the Spirit Dragon: Is there incase my Ugin/Ojutai ends up in the yard.
Flooded Strand and Hallowed Fountain: Sometimes it's necessary to pay 3 life to get one particular colour land.
Temple of Enlightenment: It may be a tap land, but the scry 1 could be the difference in a game.
Control/Utility:
Mana Leak and Remand: Counters to turn 2 shenanigans.
Path to Exile, Detention Sphere and Cyclonic Rift: Just in case something gets past my counter brigade, got have some removal.
Cryptic Command: Cryptic does it all. Next.
Serum Visions: Card draw, very important.
Supreme Verdict: Board wipe that can't be countered, yes please.
Vendilion Clique: Awesome card, can mess up opponents combo and get a sneak peak at their hand, or will help you cycle through cards. Is also a 3/1 flyer...
Win - Cons:
Ugin, the Spirit Dragon: Alot happening on this guy, very satisfying when you pull of his -10. It's basically a 10 cost Sphinx's Revelation that's on roids.
Wurmcoil Engine: Modern staple, fits in any deck, and is the main game winner here. I don't know what they were thinking when they printed this card...
Dragonlord Ojutai: Should probably leave this one out but he's one of my all time favourite cards, and a good back up in case my wurmcoil engines don't do the trick.
Sideboard:
Ceremonious Rejection: In against affinity and eldrazi decks, very cheap.
Relic of Progenitus: Graveyard hate, gotta have some of that in the current meta.
Spellskite: Pesky little card, great against burn. Also a decent body against creature based aggro decks.
Spreading Seas: Good against any deck that is reliant on a particular land, example being tron.
Any suggestions are welcome, I'm always trying to improve this deck. :)
