Want to play some cEDH but don't have the funds or desire to really play at the big leagues? Look no further! For less than $150, you too can experience that warm and fuzzy, combo-tastic feeling for the first time all over again.

Activated abilities are one of the hardest things to interact with in this game, even for Blue, which makes them one of the safest ways to combo. The icing on top, however, is that your commander's ability can be activated at instant speed, meaning that with infinite mana, you can instantly alternate between creatures in your graveyard. Necrotic Ooze (recently reprinted!) and/or Myr Welder combos become lethal regardless if they are countered. If any removal is targeting a combo piece (on the field or in your yard), all you need to do is activate Lazav, the Multifarious's ability in response and you're instantly back on track.

The goal of the deck is to make infinite mana or put our library in our graveyard, because if we can do one, it takes very little to achieve the other. Necrotic Ooze with Palladium Myr and Pili-Pala in the graveyard will do it, but so will Pili-Pala and Grand Architect or Myr Welder imprinting Staff of Domination and any two mana rock. We can mill ourselves out instantly by activating the ability of Mirror-Mad Phantasm via another creature (like our commander or Necrotic Ooze), using infinite mana to untap a Merfolk Looter by instant switching between it and Pili-Pala, or we can try our luck by activating Divining Witch. If we happen to hit Laboratory Maniac, no problem! We can just use our infinite mana to insta-kill the table with Duskmantle Guildmage.

There is too much redundancy to list here, but the gist is to keep them guessing. If you can generate infinite mana, you basically win. One example of an extra-tricky move is to produce infinite mana in response to our commander dying while our library is in our graveyard, have it become a Rootwater Diver, bring back a Lightning Greaves, then repeat the process to bring back all our artifacts from the grave (but mostly Perpetual Timepiece if for some reason you can't win in the moment and don't want to mill yourself out).

Rest in Peace and Leyline of the Void are pretty much the only things that actually hose our strategy; most other graveyard exile effects we can respond to.

Feel free to crank up the budget! I know this deck is light on interaction, but the hope is that you win in response to someone else's win condition being shut down. Have fun and keep them guessing!
