I'd suggest some form of removal. Hurricane , Whirlwind ... It doesn't hurt you that much since you still keep all your creatures.Prey Upon , Beast Within ... Spot removal is good.

Looks like Snake Basket makes cobras not 'snakes'. Maybe a Soul Foundry would work?

Check Oracle. You'll see that the cobras were suffered an errata and are now snakes. Snake Basket works.

First thing that comes to mind is Chameleon Colossus . He is the biggest snake.

Serpent Generator , Marsh Viper and Sabertooth Cobra cause lets face it snacks can be poisonous, Doubling Season , Primal Vigor for more tokens and counters (evan works with Riptide Replicator too), Overrun Alpha Status Tribal Unity and Tribal Forcemage (yea yea he aint a snake but morphing a creature does not use the stack ;-) so you can morph him evan with a "split second" spell on the stack, that has saved my bacon more than once) for extra pump
