Esper Tokens
Looking for input on card choices, Mana base and any other advice.
I got this idea from the WBg tokens decks that have seen some success on mtgo. The major differences are that this deck plays The Scarab God instead of Vraska, Relic Seeker and gets to play Champion of Wits. I also get to play 4 Negate in the sideboard.
Card Choices:
Main:
Fatal Push- This one's fairly obvious. An answer to most early-mid game creatures. Great against Mono Red and various Energy Decks.
Legion's Landing- An early game speed bump that scales with Anointed Procession and repeatable tokens when it flips.Anointer Priest- Source of lifegain that can be brought back from the graveyard. Insane with Anointed Procession.
Hidden Stockpile- Token generator that can also filter our deck a little. This plus Anointed Procession means you generate an extra token each turn. Multiple Stockpiles and/or Processions get out of control very quickly.
Champion of Wits- Fixes our draw, can dump embalm creatures into the yard, and gives us late game card advantage. This card is great.
Anointed Procession- The engine of the deck. Has synergy with just about every other card.
Cast Out- Our catch all answer. Hits all of the threats that Fatal Push can't.
The Scarab God- The reason to play blue. This card is one of the best finishers in the format, and it combines nicely with Anointed Procession.
Liliana, Death's Majesty- Makes tokens and every once in a while revives a Scarab God.
Fumigate- Only 8 cards in our deck really get harmed by this, and they all have embalm/eternalize. It's great against most of the decks in the format.
The Mana base might not be optimal, but I have liked the Evolving Wilds to turn on revolt, so I don't think those will change. The rest is subject to further testing.
Side:
Negate- Good against Control and God-Pharoah's Gift, and good in some number against most other decks.
Bontu's Last Reckoning- The 4th sweeper. Better than Fumigate when you need a sweeper early.
Solemnity- Great against Winding Constrictor and other energy decks.
Lost Legacy- Great against UW Approach.
Authority of the Consuls- Great against Mono Red.
Sunscourge Champion- Good against Mono Red, but can also come in against decks where you want more creatures.
