There are many ways to work around indestructible, like exiling, returning to hand, ext.

And yeah Mind Controlesk cards seem to be kinda op, as do cards that copy creatures. I'm debating limiting all copy spells and Mind Control spells to one per deck, and maybe banning some of them.

We need to make a bunch of decks to see how they preform. Then, I can add bans and restrictions based on these decks to make sure that no deck is too op.

So, these are the decks I think we should make:

Gruul ramp and tramp(le)

Rakdos/boros/mardu first/double strike + deathtouch

Dimir control or sultai control

eldrazi

5-color smash

selesnya/abzan hexproof heavyhitters

orzhov/esper control

Artifacts

izzet/jeskai unblockable and prowesslike affects

some color enchantments

temur midrange/heavyhitters (with hexproof?)

naya midrange with hexproof

bant(?) exalted (well, some kind of exalted, but I think bant would be good)

monogreen devotion

Thats actually a lot of decks, so um... yeah. If you wanna make a deck/have made a deck, just link it in the comment section here.

I think I'll get working on bant exalted.

Getting multiple effects out of a band for a single tap cost is awful--it means you can go turn 1 Birds of Paradise, turn 2 Seeker of Skybreak, and have unlimited mana.

@Selcath: yeah sure.

@SadisticMystic: well yeah. Perhaps that rule is bad.

do creatures in a band's affects apply to each other?

(btw not trying to be sassy just asking legit)

Please don't ask me to explain banding, even the judges hate explaining it, but no they don't.

Yeah I looked it up and it was really weird and all complicated but I think I get the jist. So I guess the fact that creatures' in a band's affects don't apply to each other and that creatures' in a team in this format's affects do apply to each other is how this format differs from Banding: The Format.
