Sideboard

This is my very first Magic deck. I had played with friends' decks off and on before, but had never gotten into it myself. One day, I was at the local comic shop/gaming store looking around, and there it was: the Fiery Dawn starter deck from Avacyn Restored. I love the American Revolution, and that deck just screamed flavor at me. It was even better once I got to play. My brother and his best friend gave me a few commons and uncommons, and so my humans and I went to war against my brother's vampire deck. Time and time again I lost, and occasionally I would win by the skin of my teeth, sometimes holding the line and pulling off a Fateful Hour bonus. I've tweaked the deck over the years, especially after a college friend introduced me to EDH. I looked through the available commanders in my colors (I don't call this deck Boros, because it's from Innistrad not Ravnica), and there was a clear choice: Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. Currently, the deck is focused around ETB triggers and small, synergistic humans holding the line until Gisela comes in to save the day.
