This isn't meant to be competitive but fun kitchen table Magic

The initial idea started with Simic and using the 1-drops like Ben and Cursecatcher to either loot or counter an opponent's spell early game. Then use Neoform to tribute an adapted Ben to bring out the lords with an extra +1/+1 counter. Then I wanted to put Harpoon Sniper in and found Unsettled Mariner , so I put them in because my first Merfolk deck a decade ago was such and I loved fun Azorius Merfolk. Sniper was a staple in my kitchen table deck and it's here out of nostalgia.

The bounce lands slow down the deck but work splendidly with Merrow Reejerey . If I have 2 bounce lands out I can sometimes play most of my remaining hand and still have floating mana. The mana in general is difficult for this deck.

My main thoughts for changing this to make it slightly more consistent is to replace with Mist-Cloaked Herald s with Cursecatcher but other than that, I'm open to hearing ideas to make Bant Merfolk run more smoothly. I also thought of Unclaimed Territory to help with mana.
