This is just one of the uses that skullcrack has. I think that both command and skullcrack are very versatile, both in different situations. Right now I think people are really excited for spoilers, and want to fit stuff into decks, but I'm not sure if that card is better or worse than skullcrack yet.

quesobueno123 I agree. Skullcrack might prevent some lifegain, which Atarka's Command can also do, but Atarka's Command usually is played as: 3 damage to each opponent, creatures you conrol get +1/+1 and reach until end of turn.
This can represent anywhere from 3-4+ damage.

Also I notice you said zurgo to replace gg... Why not swiftspear? 1/2 prowess with haste seems very nice for a burn deck especially when your so low on curve and can easily play 2-3 spells woth swiftspear to sneak in some extra damage

pro red has prevention of damage built into it, so say that they cast a Kor Firewalker, you can swing in with a dude, they block, you cast skullcrack, and they trade where normally the firewalker just eats it
