A Midrange competitive Progenitus deck.

The main focus is to get Progenitus out from the Command zone as soon as possible and/or the other heavy hitters in order overcome your opponents while keeping their pressure on check.

• Mana Reflection - Doubles mana produced from each and any of your permanents being tapped for it.
• Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger - Extra mana from each land tapped while locking your opponents'.

Removal

• Path to Exile - Bypasses indestructibility at instant speed and serves as emergency land drop.
• Swords to Plowshares - Bypasses indestructibility at instant speed and serves as life gain.
• Cyclonic Rift - Bypasses all kinds of protections at instant speed.
• Beast Within - The best green target removal spell, targets all types of permanents at instant speed. although it doesn't bypass any protection whatsoever.
• Anger of the Gods - Board wipe for big mini threads as it exiles the creatures affected should they die afterwards during that turn.
• Anguished Unmaking - Bypasses indestructibility while targetting any nonland permanent at instant speed. Small drawback in the form of 3 life points lost as a complementary cost to cast the spell.
• Toxic Deluge - Creature board wipe. Bypasses indestructibility.
• Pernicious Deed - <= X Mana cost Artifact/Enchantment/Creature board wipe.
• Living Death - Creature board with the possibility of recovering your board presence.
• Jokulhaups - Land/Artifact/Creature board wipe.
• Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite - One-Sided creature board wipe. Highly effective against tokens while always narrowing our Progenitus DeathClock.

Sideboard

Technically an In-Game Sideboard since Mastermind's Acquisition serves as both a Diabolic Tutor and a Death Wish but without the latter's drawbacks (No half of life points loss nor exiling the card after use). Hence, I tend to call it Diabolic Wish.

What makes this card great is that it can be reused in conjunction of cards with recursion mechanics such as Eternal Witness and Regrowth, both which are also included in the deck.

Cast Mastermind's Acquisition and pick from tutoring a card from your main deck or simply look outside of the game for the perfect card for the current situation.
