Why would you run Zurgo Bellstriker as your general? if you must use him, use him in the main deck, and use Krenko, Mob Boss as your general.

Tar Pitcher has a converted mana cost of 4 so it's illegal in Tiny Leaders and Strip Mine is currently on the ban list for Tiny Leaders. Other than that my main criticism of your deck would be the mana curve--it seems very clunky. Sure, you'll be able to play Zurgo on turn 1 every single game, but if you get stuck on 2 lands you won't be able to play 1/3 of your deck (15 out of 50). If you're playing goblin tribal Goblin Guide ABSOLUTELY needs to be in your main deck, because he's the best goblin ever printed!

While I realize that red has trouble dealing with pesky enchantments and huge creatures that are too big to burn I would recommend cutting Chaos Warp and possibly main-decking a Blood Moon; either that or replace Chaos Warp with another 1-drop burn spell like Chain Lightning. Blue-Black control is going to be very competitive in this format with access to a ton of planeswalkers, but if you can resolve a turn 3 Blood Moon you'll usually lock them out of the game or stall them long enough for you to majorly out tempo them.

Assuming that you are consistently able to keep lots of goblins in play Brightstone Ritual could be a really good mana accelerant--otherwise it's a dead card. Here's a link to my mono-red tiny leaders deck: Mono-Red Suicide. I know our decks don't have the exact same play style, but you might be able to glean some different ideas to improve your deck.

Thanks for the help Zarathustra616. I'll look into them. Is 19-20 a better mana?

19-20 lands? No, I wouldn't run more than 16-17 normally. You're running an aggro deck and with 18 lands 36% of your deck is lands. The odds of drawing one in the mid-to-late game will increase dramatically and you're going to want a steady supply of spells after you've set up your mana base that way you can keep the pressure on your opponent.

Ok, thanks Zarathustra616. I also took your Shrine of Burning Rage. Looking at pump for Zurgo Bellstriker now.

Thanks, goblinguiderevealpls. Some thoughts to be going on with. What I would give for a reprint of Goblin Piledriver

+1 from me, I like this deck. Has a very in your face style of play.

This may not be helpfull but have you considered Sundial of the Infinite? Keeps your elementals in play. I understand the dash mechanic benefits you if you return the creature to your hand but the sundial is an activation controlled by you.

The inclusion of Sundial of the Infinite opens up to many red effects that end at the end of your turn. It allows for permanancy.

Try it out and rate and comment on my other decks would appreciate any advice.

Bravo! applauds This looks like a much better, more consistent and aggressive list than your attempt at goblin tribal. Also, the mana curve is more balanced than before.

I would go with Dangerous Wager or Bonfire of the Damned over Krenko's Command. I find Krenko's Command to be lacking as a sorcery when compared with cards (that I know you can't play in here, but may be playing against) like Raise the Alarm. Since you aren't doing Goblin Tribal anymore, these tokens will usually just turn into chump blockers.

I like to pick cards that will be good when I draw them at most phases of the game. Krenko is great T1, but after that it starts to fade in its effectiveness... fast. In my experience, unless I can kill my opponent with my opening hand, it becomes a competition over who's deck will stall out last. Krenko's Command is a stall card. The other two are "add gas" cards. They will accelerate your play when drawn T3 - T5. Other raw burn options would be Skullcrack, or Lightning Strike.

Also, you should probably find room for Shatter in the sideboard. I would drop Heartstone for it. It's a good card, but it only helps Jaya Ballard, Task Mage, Dragon Whisperer, and Ashling the Pilgrim. To me that's not enough when the odds of drawing any two cards together by turn 4 in Tiny Leaders is only 4.6% (assuming you play first, not draw first). That's not enough for me, as most of these games are coming to a close shortly after that.

You're doing a great job with the build transitioning from tribal though. +1 from me!

If you wouldn't mind checking my Tiny Leaders builds here, I'd appreciate any feedback (or upvotes) you have!:

Burst Lightning for Shock, at least you have the option to kick.

Thank you darktryst, that should have been obvious. Much love.

Also, I have gone for Bonfire of the Damned, FrenchFryNinja, as you're quite right, Krenko's Command loses gas quick. The same may need to be done with Dragon Fodder

March 16, 2015 11:28 a.m.

LOL. I missed Dragon Fodder. I'd agree there. Isochron Scepter is good if you want to go more "burn" like in your build.

I'd also like to apologize that I took up half your comment block using the "big" deck links. I don't know what I was thinking. :)

have you considered Storm Entity?

That's pretty interesting Doctor_ando. Does it have a reprint?

It doesn't look like it does, but it costs under fifty cents so getting it shouldn't be a problem.

also, do you think Ghitu Encampment would help too?

It might. Don't want too many tap lands in there, but it might replace another. Thanks Doctor_ando

Looks pretty solid. If you don't mind the damage yourself, you can throw an Eidolon of the Great Revel in there.

Thanks Ballzanya. Haven't been to big on him, but I might sideboard him

Thanks for your input on my Zurgo deck. Although tiny leaders is a good deal different than EDH, I feel you could make some good use out of some of the cards I like. . Maybe some other cheap ETB equips that automatically attack like Tenza, Godo's Maul or Obsidian Battle-Axe. Both give Zurgo a hefty boost in power without a need to equip him everytime you dash. Some draw might also be helpful. Wheel of Fortune is my personal favorite, but there's always Wheel of Fate or simply cycling with Faithless Looting.
