I must say that i agree with the comment above, Price of Progress is an awesome card, it can win you games just from nowhere. +1

Hall of Triumph would be great in this deck, considering all the creatures are red. Ash Zealot could be good sideboard, for any tiny graveyard interaction decks. Konda's Banner could work here, giving yet another boost to red creatures. Hero's Blade could also work, for giving a dashed Zurgo extra power. Looks like a lot of fun! +1

I Think this deck is pretty solid and well made. I have a few suggestions I think could improve the deck a bit more. Kiln Fiend is a super good card in this deck considering the pump spells and high amount of burn. Also Satyr Firedancer is better in my opinion than Goblin Sharpshooter in a some of situations first you can spent more time sending burn at an opponents face and getting bonus damage on a creatures. Don't get me wrong sharp shooter is great but I think he requires more work than you have time for. I am also confused with the side board I don't know what some cards are in there for they don't help you fight deck archetypes they are just good cards. The maybe board is a better side board but some of the cards don't serve a purpose they are just good.Jaya Ballard, Task Mage should probably just be switched with Chandra's Phoenix they are the same CMC and Phoenix is better game one for speed where Jaya is better to bring in for control decks. Price of Progress is a good card but probably in the side board; this is not like commander where that card is just take 12 damage it can be a Shock or just a dead card in some matchups. Hammer of Purphoros, Heartstone, Shrine of Burning Rage, Strata Scythe and Sudden Demise should also just be in the deck or not be played. They don't bring any thing to the side board but they would be good on there own in the deck. where Taurean Mauler, Monastery Swiftspear, Mutavault, Mishra's Factory and Eidolon of the Great Revel should just be in the deck they provide late game, speed and attrition. The cards I didn't mention plus Jaya Ballard, Task Mage actually make up a pretty good reactive side board. Bloodmark Mentor(good for Shu Yun, the Silent Tempestdecks),Chaos Warp, Magus of the Moon, Blood Moon, Mizzium Mortars,Pyroblast, Red Elemental Blast, Skullcrack and Vandalblast. I think the main board by itself though is really good and could beat any deck +1. Sorry for writing a book.

Arcane Lighthouse is also good to deal with Geist of Saint Traft decks.

DavidBray, With your 19 land you should hit every land drop. So basically you can potentially be getting 5/5 flyers turn 7 and on. Maybe better for late game if you haven't won by then. I'm a fan of it in my deck Lil Dragons and Adorable Goblins

I ended up playing against a Zurgo deck. My opponent went turn 1 Monastery Swiftspear, turn 2 Pyrostatic Pillar, and turn 3 Sulfuric Vortex after I dropped Bow of Nylea I proceeded to kill myself until finished off with Incinerate. It was such a complete trouncing that I can't imagine you would want to build this deck without Pyrostatic Pillar. Eidolon of the Great Revel is not quite as good since it is so easy to remove, but that effect is strong enough to justify the redundancy of including both.
Second game I mulliganed into a bad hand and lost to tuen 1 Wasteland. That should also be in the deck if you can afford it.

Dragonmaster Outcast is way too slow for what this deck should be doing.

This deck looks awesome. +1 You mentioned Red Elemental Blast; have you considered Artifact Blast?
Any suggestions you have for my TL decks would be appreciated.

I did not even know about that, Karns_Pyromancer. Nice one, mate. I'll have a look now.

marioman77 Won all but one matchup. It operates just like a goldfish RDW strategy and hits for lethal before other decks can build resources. If there is healing in the opponent's deck it can struggle and has to unload its hand as soon as possible before that kicks in.

Solid deck! I guess sideboard depends a LOT on your home meta, but I wouldn't go out without Relic of Progenitus, Smash to Smithereens, Pithing Needle and even maybe Shutterstorm in my neck of the woods..

IMO Shrine of Burning Rage should be in the main not the side, its good in way more matches than its bad in. I can't even count the number of games its won me. Also most people keep artifact removal in the side making shrine best in game 1.

im not sure if Jaya Ballard, Task Mage is a part of your actual game plan. also if you have checked any spoilers for the new set, you might be interested in the red 1/1 with renown.

mandals, Jaya will be immediately replaced with Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh Flip I think. You have a point with Goblin Glory Chaser. Thanks.

This decks looks like exactly how mono red burn should be, you have every card from the archetype I can think of. My only question is why the Scythe of the Wretched?
July 12, 2015 7:19 p.m.
Griffin7823, it interacts with Ashling. It'll be the next card replaced for definite.

Hi,
Very nice; +1! Have you considered Legion Loyalist? Seems to fit well in this deck. Another creature that has helped my goblin deck to close out games, is Marton Stromgald; not a goblin himself but makes your army crazy strong when attacking or defending.
Keep up the nice deck building!
