Creature (2)

Sorcery (2)

This is my rendition on izzet prowess.

Not much is different but there are reasons for certain cards in here.

Sprite Dragon is arguably better than Stormchaser mage, the fact it gets counters is the biggest factor, since it'll help you keep pressure on the opponent. Stormchaser admittedly has a bigger toughness, but still dies to the same kill spells, besides shock effects.

Stormwing Elemental is also arguably the most valuable creature in the deck. It doesn't die to fatal push or shock effects. It also provides a large aerial creature that can be hard to deal with on top of scrying 2 on enter. Very valuable, if anything run at least 3.

Now, Bonecrusher Giant. I don't see any versions running this card and I'm not sure why. Stomp acts as another burn spell to kill small creatures, push damage, and trigger prowess. On top of that, it turns into a 4/3 that can be hard to deal with on the board or causes them to take damage on targeting with a spell.

Hidden strings is definitely some hidden tech for this deck. Best way I can describe it, is by giving an example.

It's turn 2, you have a swiftspear on board.

Cast hidden strings (prowess) Untap 2 lands Cipher it onto swiftspear Cast a 2 drop creature (stormwing or Sprite dragon) Swing in with Swiftspear Cast hidden strings via cipher Untap creatures or lands again Keep mana open for countering, burn, or a feint to trick the opponent.
