In the chain of common-uncommon decks I've been building to try and get better at the game, this is a bit more conventional. Blue-red control that relies on some good staples to keep the game in lockdown and eventually burn out the opponent with cards like Guttersnipe, Brimstone Volley . There's a small Flashback subtheme as well, to get a bit of extra value. The Mystic Retrievals are like really-poor-man's Snapcaster Mages. Still in an early stage at this point, probably needs some testing and tweaking for the right numbers. Love me some Izzet control, though!
