Went ahead with the Dreadbore in lieu of Magma Jet , Whip of Erebos instead of the Keyrune.
The Evictions and Retribution are likely going to stay in there just because outside of Elspeth and the much less useful Extinguish All Hope they are the only true Wrath effects in these colors right now.
Oh trust me, I would run Archangel if I could get my hands on some. But $30 apiece right before rotation isn't an investment I'm willing to make.
Soldier doesn't really make much sense in this archetype, but I may drop an Underworld Connections but I also need a reliable source of draw so we'll see.
I really appreciate the input, thank you!

I agree with the above dude but only to do with fated retribution. I think it's just too expensive. By the time turn 7 you want to have your own threats roaming about and that's counter intuitive. I'd remove it for another copy of dreadbore or downfall

Nyx-Fleece Ram for the sideboard seems good, and maybe Chandra, Pyromaster for some card advantage.. Last Breath , Lightning Strike , or Shock may be appropiate for dealing with opposing Mutavault s as well

More instant speed removal instead of sorcery speed removal would really help your deck. You have a bad game 1 matchup against aggro decks, especially red and black based aggro. Ultimate Price , while not ideal, can serve this function. Bile Blight can be solid in the mainboard. You need lots of ways to stay alive until the late game, which you should be able to dominate with Blood Baron of Vizkopa , Obzedat, Ghost Council , and Stormbreath Dragon . I don't really see Underworld Connections doing a whole lot for you. You need more ways to protect your life total. It will be an all-star against other controlling decks, but if you make your mainboard more focused on the aggro decks I think you'll have more success. Boros Reckoner is a really good blocker and comes down on turn 3. All of your creatures come down on turn 5 or 6. If you don't draw enough removal you'll be swarmed before you know it. I would recommend lowering your curve, which is pretty high at 3.5. If you can get it down to about 3 that would help you out a lot. You probably don't need as many sweepers in here, especially since they're at 6 and 7cmc. Since you only run 8 creatures the whip is doing almost nothing. Right now it is practically a dead draw. If you add more creatures you can assess it's worth, but right now I would recommend taking it out for another creature or more removal

Warleaders helix is really good despite its cost. Instant speed answer for most mid sized creatures plus life game if you need. Good
Could easily replace lightning strike in numbers

Deicide
in sideboard would help you against mono-blue, getting rid of thassa. Enchantment removal in general is always good.
+1 A cool deck though, I like it.

Merciless Eviction I feel would be better on the sideboard. Maybe run Mizzium Mortars or something else. Unless Merciless Eviction is really helping you out.

By looking at your post about your record and by what I can tell this deck would struggle against anything that is aggro based. I would drop a Blood Baron of Vizkopa
and put change out the Sire Of Insanity
to the board for 2 main deck copies of Anger of the Gods
. I am more of a fan of Merciless Eviction
in this deck being that it can wipe planeswalkers or even all of the powerful enchantment creatures that are starting to run rampant in the format. This deck is really set up well against other control decks and a vast majority of the mid range decks that are everywhere in the format right without the main decked Sire Of Insanity
. Also I would move more Warleader's Helix
in for some Lightning Strike
, if not all of them, as the Lightning Strike
is not going to accomplish anything that the 6 removal spells and 3 Banishing Light
aren't already doing, and this is a control deck so doing 3 damage to someones face early usually isn't going to be that big of a game changer. I love this deck though. I just feel like Slaughter Games
should be in here somewhere, because it wrecks decks that lean on a few cards to win games.

I really like the feel of the deck when RTR rotates out I wanna play either green/white or Dega and this dega looks like alot of fun but here are my thoughts. I don't like (Rakdos Keyrune) or ( Fated Retribution) I'm also not a fan of 4x (Underworld Connections) I also really hate 2x(Merciless Eviction). I think this would look alot better if you did.
+2 (Dreadbore) -2 (Merciless Eviction)+2 (Archangel of Thune) -1 (Rakdos Keyrune) -1 (Blood Baron of Vizkopa)+2 ( Soldier of the Pantheon) -2 (Underworld Connections)+1 ( Whip of Erebos) -1 ( Fated Retribution)
