This is a simple sort of variation on the old soul sisters deck I guess you could say. Except Soul Sisters was way better.
Anyhow!
My deck which I'll call "Cheers", is a deck based around gaining life and having a good sustained board of smaller costed creatures.
The obvious combos are Ajani's Pridemate combined with the soul sisters Soul's Attendant and Soul Warden. More creatures = more triggers and that's where the Lingering Souls come in. All together they combo to work with Essence harvest on a big boi creature, a super pumped Ajani's Pridemate.
Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord allows us to cheaply and consistently bring back the sisters and the kitty. Liliana of the Dark Realms is only useful to help push that lethal damage with her second ability, so even if we have a small dork left, we can still push out more damage with the essence harvest combo.
If we are left to our devices, we have the sneaky Exquisite Blood and Vizkopa Guildmage combo. As well as Vizkopa Guildmage being just a good creature for us (another sister perhaps?). She offers quite the nice combo with having all our dudes having lifelink with Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord on board as well.
Lastly, Vault of the Archangel, Banisher Priest Grasp (gasp! another sister!) of Darkness are our options for removal. Ranging from hard to soft.
I'm never good with mana base making so do with that what you will.
