Sideboard

Win condition? What the Hell is a win condition? All I have is Elixir of Immortality

The way to win with this deck is to make your opponent sit there and draw themselves out completely. Most of our instants can be placed on Isochron Sceptor, the most important being Silence. Imprinting Silence on to the Sceptor allows us to keep our opponents from laying down creatures. Or trying to have fun. Aside from Silence, we can also imprint Remand, Mana Leak, Quicken, and Path to Exile.

Sphinx's Revelation lets us draw cards and when used at the right time can get us out of tight spots.

Venser, the Sojourner allows us to leave open an extra mana each turn (blink a land with his +1) and his ultimate is essentially an auto-win. He also gives us the ability to lay down Isochron Sceptor early even without a silence, since we can blink it later on. I guess you could also make Celestial Colonnade unblockable. I mean, if you're in to that sort of thing.

The sideboard has gone through a lot of changes since I originally designed the deck. At first, I attemped to transition straight into a tempo build to surprise the opponent. However, I found this to be a less then optimal way to approach the deck. The current sideboard utilizes specific hate cards which attempt to approach each deck separately, while maintaining the deck's focus on winconditionless control.
