There is a ton of potential in mardu right now. This deck punishes aggro decks, goes under control while being somewhat resilient to boardwipes, especially Crux of Fate and has very very strong potential against abzan hangerback. Lifegain hurts it, but Tainted Remedy turns lifegain off completly. Spot removal is pretty awful. The ability to steal things with Act of Treason , then sac it with Bone splinter or Butcher of the Horde is great, especially a hangerback because then you get the tokens! This is a serious deck that I've tested against a good abzan player, because I feel like if you can beat abzan, you can be good in the whole format. Monastery Swiftspear works very well and gets a good amount of damage in while you're curving up . Sorin, Solemn Visitor makes you win any race. The really wierd card Brave the Sands takes advantage of sorin's +1, allowing you to play offense and defense with some +1 lifelink dudes. Sleeve this up and give it a try.
