No tutors? Depending on budgets/styles you can go with Diabolic Tutor , Diabolic Revelation , Demonic Tutor , Vampiric Tutor , Dark Petition , Increasing Ambition , Beseech the Queen and probably more. I use Revelation with two others and if I generate enough mana, I can Elixir of Immortality back my old tutors and use Revelation to search them back out along with the Elixir plus whatever else I want.

As for board wipes I'd recommend at least a Planar Cleansing or Hour of Revelation just to make sure you can wipe a board clean and nice. Also, Merciless Eviction is strong when someone starts making things indestructible or you need to remove a specific type of problem off the table.

Fun enchantments like Black Market can also fetch you quite a bit of mana.

Unfortunately we don't play with tutors in my pod. Just trying to cut back on quick kills and end step digging for infinite combos. As much as I hate not being able to find a timely wrath or spot removal, I like the gameplay better than an LGS looping Timetwister effects on turn 3 or 4.

The complete board wipe effects I'll have to give some thought into. I could see a case of swapping out Martial Coup with one, I just happened to have a Martial Coup available so I threw it in the deck.

Black Market is a really good card, but its a non-bo with Karlov and seemingly better in Grave Pact or Dictate of Erebos led decks that utilize sacrifice effects moreso than exile effects.

Appreciate the suggestions!

Ah, understandable. I run Black Market with Teysa, Orzhov Scion. So even though I'm exiling things, I'm usually sacrificing my own things so it's beneficial either way.

Cards like Phyrexian Processor and Aetherflux Reservoir are wonderful additions to a deck that focuses on life gain. More in particularly a deck that can use life effectively as a resource. I myself have a budget Karlov deck because I am too lazy to buy effective cards. Another good card that I recommend is Survival Cache because it is very simple card draw and life gain.

Appreciate the feedback.

I can see where Phyrexian Processor would be good, I just don't know how I feel about 4 mana pay 10 life, survive a turn cycle and spend my next turn activating it. Late game it is probably much better, I'd have to think of what it would take up.

I did have Aetherflux Reservoir in the deck on the concept of separate life triggers seems very strong with Karlov. I ended up cutting it for Righteous Cause because it seemed like it would create far more separate triggers to accomplish the same thing. Being able to 50 someone is satisfying though so I may have to revisit it.

Survival Cache seems really good with Karlov out, but not as strong without him on the field. I tried to slot my card draw into repeatable effects throughout the game, along with being easier to bring back should they get removed.

I'd certainly welcome suggestions for cuts for these cards though and thanks for checking out the deck!
