Welcome to my mono-blue Tron deck! Mono-U tron plays more like a control deck than its RG counterpart, countering spells, bouncing creatures and staying ahead on tempo. This culminates in a Treasure Mage, which can tutor up just the right "robot" to win! Let's get right into it...

Lands

Urza's Mine , Urza's Power Plant, Urza's Tower: Urza-tron. Not much to say here.

Academy Ruins: Creates a lock with Mindslaver, and can also recur your Expedition Maps.

Oboro, Palace in the Clouds: Filters colorless mana into blue mana, which is important since Tron only crates colorless.

Island: Um, Island. Taps for U. Not much to say.

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth: Lets Sundering Titan blow up nonbasics, and can help with Dismember.

Creatures

Snapcaster Mage: Good old Snappy is here as an extra copy of our spells. At worst we can flash him in to chump.

Treasure Mage: Tutors up robots and chump-blocks Goyfs, a superstar!

Solemn Simulacrum: Robot #1. Speeds us up and draws us cards, the Sad Robot definitely makes the cut here.

Platinum Angel: Robot #2. Screws over combo decks like Scapeshift.

Wurmcoil Engine: Robot #3. Aggro and Delver have a really hard time dealing with this guy.

Sundering Titan: Robot #4. Almost a one-sided Armageddon against some decks. Then if they kill it, they have to suffer the Armageddon again.

Artifacts:

Talisman of Dominance: Talisman is a very good mana-rock, speeding us up and providing an extra blue source in a pinch.

Expedition Map: Tutors for your missing Tron pieces, a staple and four-of.

Oblivion Stone: O-stone is the panic button.Game not going your way? Fabricate for O-stone and it's all good.

Mindslaver: Locks your opponent out of the game with Academy Ruins. Another possible Trinket Mage target.

Sorcery

Fabricate: Gets any of your robots, O-stone, Chalice, and so forth. A great tutor.

Instant

Spell Burst: Practically a hardlock with Tron online.

Thirst for Knowledge: Our draw spell. Digs for Tron pieces, robots to finish the game, or just gasoline.

Dismember: Just a vanilla removal spell. Kills whatever gets past counterspells.

Repeal: Gets you up in tempo and cantrips, just great.

Cyclonic Rift: It can get you out of some real jams, and it's not that hard to overload with Tron active.

Spell Burst: In the late game with Tron online it's almost a hard-lock.

Condescend: Sets up draws and counters spells, a snap four-of.

Remand: Keeps you ahead on tempo. Hilarious against Treasure Cruise.

Sideboard

Pithing Needle: This helps against "trouble" cards in general. It can even name fetchlands if you want to be really mean.

Spellskite:Eats Bolts like a champ, hoses Twin combo, and is an 0/4 wall.

Relic of Progenitus:You always gotta pack GY hate.

Grafdigger's Cage: Hits the strategies Relic is worse at hitting (eg Pod).

Squelch: Squelch helps against many of the cards often boarded against Tron, like Tectonic Edge and Fulminator Mage. Nailing a fetch with Squelch is extremely satisfying and a huge tempo swing.

Spell Pierce: Good against... decks that play lots of noncreature spells. Simple as that.

Dismember: It's always good to have some extra sided creature removal for aggro.

AEtherize: Aggro and tempo HATE this.
