Instead of an Edgar-Markov style "Attack! Attack! Attack!" deck, this is a more controlling, sit-back-and-choose-your-moment style deck. In the early game we have things to keep our opponents in check, like spot removal and pillow fort cards, and ways to stop them from just comboing off and killing us, like Deflecting Palm and Teferi's Protection . In the late game, we kill our opponents with powerful, versatile cards like Olivia Voldaren or our commander, or try to combo off ourselves with things like Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood .
