Liliana's Contract... Ah, how I love thee. It doesn't matter how you get your demons out, either with the planeswalker or by tutoring for them but as soon as you get four of them, play the card. You win. The rats were thrown in there for weenies and the fact that you can get a swarm of rats to sac and attack. Also cast Ob Nix and there's life lost every time someone tutors for a card.
