Legacy Humans based on the Modern/Vintage list. I'll explain some card choices even though most are known from the power of the Modern deck and Legacy Death and Taxes.
ARTIFACTS:
Aether Vial: pretty self explanatory, between this and Cavern our creatures are uncounterable and allows us to respond at instant speed during our opponents turn. Vialing in a Kitesail Freebooter during our opponents draw step, Meddling Mage while they're going off, Reflector Mage EOT are all strong plays.
CREATURES:
Mother of Runes: Her power is know from DnT but she might be even stronger in this shell. Forces your opponent to have 2 removal spells if you untap with her and pairing her with Kitesail Freebooter, Meddling Mage, or Hostage Taker is very powerful.
Champion of the Parish: You really want a 1 drop and the choice was between this and Noble Hierarch. After testing I realized Noble doesn't actually do much because the bulk of the decks power is at 2 mana so ramping into 3 isn't very relevant. Also Champion can quickly outgrow opposing creatures and is castable off of a plains.
Thalia, Guardian of Thraben: Our deck is entirely creatures except for Vial. Most people that have played with and against her understand how annoying she can be. Especially turn two on the play.
Thalia's Lieutenant: Pumps all our guys and is great for alpha striking. Vial let's you blow people out while attacking or with blocks on occasion.
Kitesail Freebooter: The evasion is pretty nice even though it's a 1/2, but it's ability to remove a combo piece, removal, lock pieces is huge. Also gives us information for Meddling Mage.
Meddling Mage: Combined with Kitesail Freebooter it can really blank your opponents hand, or the ability to name something like Toxic Deluge then protect it with Mother of Runes is huge in grindy match ups.
Dark Confidant: Aggro decks typically run out of cards pretty quick or have trouble recovering from board wipes. Bob is a human and helps us keep up with decks with superior selection/card advantage.
Ethersworn Canonist: Tutor target, slows down combo decks or control decks that want to cast more than one spell a turn.
Imperial Recruiter: Argubly better than Recruiter of the Guard because it can find your Reflector Mages, Izzet Staticaster, Kambal, and Hostage Taker.
Reflector Mage: Huge against reanimator and show and tell. Can also remove pesky blockers. Bouncing a Delver of Secrets or Gurmag Angler is pretty solid too.
Kambal, Consul of Allocation: Tutor target, helps with the storm match up and the curve in legacy is pretty low so he can create huge life swings in grindy match ups filled with removal or gives combo decks a hard time.
Sanctum Prelate: Tutor target, just as strong here as it is in Death and Taxes because a lot of decks lose when you don't let them cast 1 mana spells. Pairs well with Meddling Mage because it can cover 1 CMC removal and Meddling Mage can name something like Abrupt Decy which is largely a lock against a lot of decks.
Palace Jailer: Tutor target, removal and card advantage rolled into one. Nice to have as an option if you need either.
LANDS
Cavern of Souls + Unclaimed Territory + Ancient Ziggurat: Part of what makes humans so powerful in various formats is 12 rainbow lands. Cavern is huge in some match ups and Ancient Ziggurat can't create colorless mana so it can't cast Aether Vial by itself. If you think this is an issue Mana Confluence is another option.
4 White Fetches + Plains + Tundra + Scrubland + Plateau: Finishes out our mana base. 1 Plains lets us cast 16 of our creatures through Blood Moon. These 8 cards are probably where I plan on experimenting most. Possibly 4 Plains + 4 Wastelands, 8 Plains, or 2 Horizon Canopy + 6 Plains is the right call.
