Maybeboard

(we want Undwind when it comes out, might actually add deadeye+drake/palinchron)

This is the current Azami build I am using. It features a myriad of combos that win the game in a number of ways. The 'maybe' board are cards I'm considering but not sure what I would take out or ones that I currently do not own but would almost definitely put into the deck somewhere.

The deck wins primarily by searching up your Mind Over Matter with Long-Term Plans. You can also Merchant Scroll and Mystical Tutor for the Long-Term Plans or even transmute Muddle the Mixture to find Merchant Scroll to find Long-Term Plans. From here you just need to draw into either Psychosis Crawler or Laboratory Maniac (which you can Wizardcycle for with Vedalken AEthermage) With so many ways to search up your game ending combo you can actually turn out pretty consistent early turn wins. It's possible to win on turn 3 but I find it's consistently around 7-8.

Infinite Combos:Azami, Lady of Scrolls + Mind Over Matter = Infinite card draw. This is the main win condition of the deck and the easiest of the combos to assemble. You get these two on the battlefield and you can either Psychosis Crawler to drain them or Laboratory Maniac for the win. Alternatively you can create a ton of mana for a lethal Blue Sun's Zenith.

Sigil Tracer + Turnabout + 6 untapped lands and 3 other wizards = Infinite Mana. Cast Turnabout, activiate Sigil Tracer ability to copy it, the copied Turnabout resolves targetting lands and the original copy that's still on the stack targets creatures, activate Sigil Tracer again etc. etc. This can be used for a lethal Blue Sun's Zenith or to create mana for a massive turn or if Azami is in play for infinite draw.

Archaeomancer + Riptide Laboratory + Turnabout = Tap out to cast Turnabout floatingwhatever excess mana you have, Cast Archaeomancer targeting Turnabout. Activate Riptide Laboratory returning Archaeomancer to your hand. Repeat.

Value Plays:High Tide or Extraplanar Lens + Untap spells like Treachery,Frantic Search,Snap,Turnabout to generate mana.

Untap Spells + Sapphire Medallion or Helm of Awakening or Stonybrook Banneret

Sigil Tracer + Time Warp or other extra turn effects. Some silly extra turn shennanigans can happen...

Vedalken Mastermind or Fatestitcher + Mana Vault or Sol Ring to generate extra colorless mana.

Devastation Tide + Omniscience or overloaded Cyclonic Rift for the lols

many others....

What happens if they get rid of your Mind Over Matter?? You can actually win with raw (non-infinite) card draw with a bunch of wizards in play and a combination of extra turn effects and untap effects to get your library to zero with a Laboratory Maniac or a bunch of drains with Psychosis Crawler (or Temple Bell once I get one).

What happens if they get rid of your Azami, Lady of Scrolls?? Well if they remove her from the game then you'll have to start looking for another combo from the list or steal something with Treachery, Acquire, or Reins of Power for a lethal attack.

This deck was made for a competitive environment. Extra turns, taking away their turns (with Time Stop), multiple infinite combos that can happen relatively early, tons of countermagic, and a surprising amount of combo resiliency make this a tough deck to beat unless the opponent either combos out first or is a dedicated, low cost aggro deck. You won't make too many friends playing this one and as always, it's still a work in progress.

Additional Notes:- I feel like 34 lands is simply not enough even with the mana reduction, artifact mana, and High Tide. - Temple Bell is another win condition that I must add for sure. The same goes for Otherworld Atlas and Gilded Lotus.- Elixir of Immortality is there to get your combo pieces back if they're milled or otherwise put into your graveyard and also to prevent you from decking yourself if things come to that.- One of the main things I'm currently debating is whether or not to put Future Sight and/or Magus of the Future in as well as Brain Freeze and/or Mind's Desire as another win condition and what I would cut. Same goes for Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur and Enter the Infinite
