I know what you’re wondering. Why in the world would you want Mishra as your commander in a singleton format... The answer is, he’s actually more than meets the eye. Plus, no one plays this guy, it's a very rare deck to see. So, let's get down to how he works. Mishra, Artificer Prodigy is a Legendary Creature, happens to be a 4/4 which isn't too shabby. But his ability reads Whenever you play an artifact, you may search your graveyard, hand and/or library for a card with the same name as that spell and put it into play. If you search your library this way, shuffle it.

Basically, with this ability we are going to be countering our own spells with Blood Funnel , Nullstone Gargoyle or Cephalid Shrine , and we can stack the triggers in a way so that after your artifacts are countered, you may return them afterward from the graveyard to the battlefield. Pretty much uncounterable artifacts. Unfortunately this doesn't really work when our opponents counter are artifacts because they can choose to wait until after the Mishra trigger has resolved. But with these effects, we can make it so we're taxing everyone except ourselves. Side note, Another cool interaction, counter your own artifact with Arcane Denial and draw three cards for and because of Mishra, you still play that artifact, neat interaction in a pinch.

2nd, we are going to cast our opponents artifacts, and use Mishra to bring ours from our decks, hand or graveyard onto the battlefield for free. Cards that allow this are Thada Adel, Acquisitor , Covetous Urge , Ornate Kanzashi , and Praetor's Grasp .

3rd, we are going to use Possibility Storm to both throw our opponents off and create Value yes, I said it,Value. With Possibility Storm and Mishra on the battlefield, we can essentially play an artifact from our hand, exile and shuffle it back into our library, then exile cards from the top of our library until we hit another artifact spell. We cast that spell for free, then Mishra triggers from our original artifact being cast. We then can bring that card back from our library onto the battlefield. It's a 2 for 1 ratio.

4th, we have another cool thing Mishra can do, he can shuffle our deck. With Mystic Forge or Sensei's Divining Top on the field, we can shuffle our deck at any time, changing what's on top, and creating some slight value.

And last but not least, our win-condition.

Mystic Forge + Blood Funnel + Mishra + Sensei's Divining Top + Aetherflux Reservoir = Inf draws,enough life to ping all your opponents for 50 each by storming out.

Mystic Forge + Foundry Inspector/Etherium Sculptor + Aetherflux Reservoir + Sensei's Divining Top = Inf draws, storming out, and ping all opponents for 50.

When it comes to the mulligan You’re generally going to be looking for 2 to 3 land hands, an ideally with some acceleration.

The only exception to this rule is if you have a Sol Ring in hand. This is the only time I would ever consider a one land hand in this deck. Most of our mana rocks are at and a couple at .

If you draw 4 or more lands than mulligan. If you draw one land, mulligan unless there’s a Sol Ring

Once we start off the game we generally aren’t doing much besides ramp and play Mishra, Artificer Prodigy as soon as possible.

Midgame is when we want to be accelerating.

We’re trying to put our combo pieces on the field, or our stax pieces. In order to last until the late game. If we’re lucky, mid game can be turns 4-6. If you drop a Trinket Mage grab a mox, a Sol Ring or Sensei's Divining Top. If you drop a Tribute Mage, grab Etherium Sculptor. If you drop Treasure Mage go for Nullstone Gargoyle. And Trophy Mage is good for getting Foundry Inspector or Shimmer Myr These are all my preferrable cards to tutor up but whatever you fetch can be subjective to the match.

Content
If you want to budget this deck down a little.

Ancient Tomb -> Temple of the False God

Force of Will -> Counterspell

Cyclonic Rift -> Coastal Breach

Mox Opal -> Thran Dynamo

If you wanted to upgrade this deck, some impacting cards would be

Nether Void This is the strongest Mishra card in my opinion, and by far the most exepensive.

Time Sieve (Combos with Thopter Foundry)

Pili-Pala (Combos with Grand Architect)

Academy Ruins , replacing Buried Ruin

Mycosynth Lattice , It combos well with Nevinyrral's Disk and Vandalblast/ Shattering Spree

Vandalblast, it's a better mass removal spell for artifacts than Shattering Spree
