Wow.maybe some daze, pact of negation or force of will would be nice for this deck. The only thing your oppnents have to do against your combo is to counter Beck or Glimpse of Nature .really nice. almost every time turn 1 win +1

i have a deck similar to this but it kills 5+ people turn one. is there any particular reason you dont wanna use grapeshot, or why you have so many lands?

You should rename this deck to something like "0 is My Hero With the Turn 1 Win" or at least add capitals to the title, it'll attract more people.
Also, love the deck, +1 upvote :D

Decided to playtest this beast and i'd like to say i'm surprised. I was able to cast both tendrils in 3 tests; twice on t1 and once on t2. The only plausible additions i can see would be sideboard, and even then it looks great. +1 from me

this deck is one of my personal favorites "I usually hear it called cheerios" but i feel Grape Shot would be better just because of cost effectiveness it would also allow you to remove the black which would increase your odds of those turn 1 and 2 wins although either way obviously works

No idea what the comments said but for sideboard go for Goblin Bombardment because when they side a flusterstorm you can just bombard them out or win with tendrills if they decide to flusterstorm it.

My attempt at this ran Manamorphose, Simian Spirit Guide and Wild Cantor to help alleviate mana issues.

I feel that your deck is a little to convoluted. I can never get the deck to go off on turn one. I have a similar prototype deck that relies on last stand instead of actually storming. It runs more 0-drops and fewer other spells. If you are interested feel free to check it out for ideas. Stormless Storm

You should play 3 Forbidden Orchard. It will always provide all the colors of mana that you will ever need, and most importantly, it synergizes with Beck. It may also be simpler just to play Grapeshot as a win condition, as you need draw only one. I play a very similar deck, which you find at http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/average-cmc-001/.
One final thing; Scapegoat is without the best card in my deck. It does so much to make your deck alot more consistent.

There are already ad nauseam tier decks that do the same thing, why not copy those.

I love this deck! But throughout play testing I've run into a major legacy problem; Force of Will. Since the main combo here is Tendrils of Agony, counter spells are a major bane to crank out a win. I love the backup plan of Beastmaster's Ascension so I'd like to offer up a counter to the counter spells. If you replace the Shield Sphere with Pact of Negation, you get free counter spells that count towards storm and the cost doesn't matter since you'll be going off for lethal! As far as why Shield Sphere, since it has defender it doesn't help the Beastmaster's back up plan. Just a suggestion but I think it would help protect the combo!

The problem with beastmaster ascenscion is that it costs 3 and is just vulnerable to force of will. The best solution would probably be one sideboard, and one maindeck Pact of Negation.

I think you might need a few more mana sources, such as Dark Ritual or Manamorphose to convert into other colors for Scapegoat and Beastmaster Ascension.

I really like this. I was able to get a turn 4 and a turn 2 kill. Counters could be a problem. I do like the addition of Beckcall but maybe as a two off. With the Personal Tutors, I found it quite reliable at getting multiples of Glimpse of Nature in a single turn. Mana can be an issue and I think you could risk cutting a couple of the one drops, maybe Spheres since it can't attack for Beastmaster Ascensions. I think some Manamorphoses would really help with mana fixing at the end of the game when you're trying to decide on going the Tendrils of Agony route or the Beastmaster Ascension route. Still draws you a card as well.

I'm a strong believer that for full blown combo decks (especially storm variants) that 4 gitaxian probe is a requirement. You more consistently assemble your pieces in what is essentially a 56 card deck. Yes it makes mulligans a bit harder but free storm count is exactly what you want. Some people might argue that the difference between 60 and 56 cards isn't that huge. but how many people have your heard of running a 61 card deck? Maybe a few but most dont. 64 card deck? None (that I've ever seen). The reason? Every card counts. i actually don't think seeing the opponents hand actually effects you that much. Because you either can combo or you can't. They have force or they don't. Not comboing because they have force doesn't help you. They'll still have force next turn. So it's mostly the thinner deck advantage and free storm counts that I'm suggesting it for.
this suggestion loses some of its merit if you attempt to move towards any sort of deck that wants to do more with its individual pieces or plans on winning at a slower pace to the point where the life loss becomes relevant.
I actually have a more glass canon combo version of this that doesn't play any lands. But it's probably less consistent overall comparatively. I just designed it to T1K or bust. Pretty amusing but not as competitive.

Beastmaster Ascension cut it. Now there's 1 free slot at main and 15 at side. If you're on the play. Only things you need to beat are Force of Will and Leyline of Sanctity. Force of Will is played as 4-off in most decks, but popularity of Leyline of Sanctity has been decreased every year since 2013. To beat Leyline of Sanctity I suggest you to play Laboratory Maniac as alternative wincon. To beat Force of Will, Thoughtseize, Duress, Cabal Therapy, Pact of Negation and Chancellor of the Annex all work. If you're on the draw there's more things that could possibly ruin your game. Your opponent can combo turn 1, Chalice of the Void with x=1 or x=0 makes comboing really difficult depending from hand. Trinisphere is impossible to beat with this deck. With mana opponent have access to Daze, Spell Pierce, Cabal Therapy, Thoughtseize, Duress, Inquisition of Kozilek. Leyline of Anticipation lets you just combo off during their upkeep, before they can play land and get access to mana or sorcery speed shenanigans. Leyline of Sanctity helps against some combos and discard, Leyline of the Void helps against rest of the combos. Chancellor of the Annex helps against most of these, except some combos and Chalice of the Void x=0. Mindbreak Trap is another possible sideboard card against combos. For your current 16 spare slots, I suggest you to add 1 Laboratory Maniac, 4 Leyline of Anticipation, 4 Chancellor of the Annex, 3 Cabal Therapy and 3 Pact of Negation. Also for maindeck, I suggest you to play Spoils of the Vault over Personal Tutor, because it costs essentially the same, but searches to hand instead of top of deck.

Instead of running essentially three colors with black for tendrils and culling, you could just run go with Brain Freeze as the kill condition. Limit your lands to 2-3 and run 3-4 Land Grant - additional free storm. Replace some of the 0 drops with Wild Cantor so that you do not get color screwed.
