Final version of my competitive Izzet burn/control deck.

First things first, Your win con is Spellheart Chimera and AEtherling. Drop a Spellheart Chimera turn 3-5 for at least a 3-3 flyer with trample. The reason for the 1 AEtherling is if you draw two opening hand you're done. There is enough scry power in this deck for you to control your draws. Dakra Mystic also allows you to control your opponent's draw while giving you an extra card draw. Clearly you can control with your blue, burn with your red. Guttersnipe alone can win you the game depending on the amount of burn. Also, don't be afraid to use Izzet Charm for the draw and discard some burn or control to power up Spellheart Chimera or search for AEtherling. Goblin Electromancer can make Lightning Strike a one drop. Bounce it off a Gutternsipe and that's 5 damage for one mana. Do not worry about using Thassa, God of the Sea as a creature. It has only happened to me once. Use her for scry and unblockable. She is also interchangable with Keranos, God of Storms
