This is the modern deck I have been trying to build for a while now. It has my favorite mechanics, and incorporates several of my most favorite cards, with a slightly more Standard spin, because of all the newer cards.

The idea of the deck is mess around with tokens and mana.

Cards to Note:

Token Generators - Nearly every card in this deck is a generator. Elspeth Tirel, [[elspeth, sun's champion, Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, Precinct Captain, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, Oona, Queen of the Fae, Bitterblossom, Lingering Souls, Assemble the Legion

Support Roles - Cards that allow me to benefit from my token generation. Purphoros, God of the Forge, Intangible Virtue

Control - Because the deck has such a high end average CMC, there needs to be a lot of early game control until I can begin to win with creatures. Boros Reckoner, Inquisition of Kozilek, Lightning Helix, Thoughtseize, Path to Exile
