Gideon, Blackblade Oathbreaker

Oathbreaker Aggro Exalted Mono-White

WindGraceBeckoning

Maybeboard

The new Gideon screamed that he wanted to be run in an exalted deck, but trying to run him in a commander deck wouldn’t always be consistent. But as an Oathbreaker? It’s perfect.

Since Gideon, Blackblade is indestructible in your turn the only real danger comes from being enchanted or exiled. That’s where the signature spell comes in. For one mana (initially) at instant speed you can give all your creatures protection from any color. So, board wipes are taken care of. For hexproof or shroud, Swiftfoot Boots and Whispersilk Cloak are thrown in.

For the rest of game, you just play as many Exalted cards as you can and use Gideon, Blakeblade to hit them in the face. Build him up with some equipment, such as the Blakeblade Reforged, and you’re good to go.
