Hello all. This is a very strong control deck for not overly competitive creature based play groups. Grixis has great creature removal, some counter magic, good card draw, and lots of board wipes. I built this deck to be kind of super-friends but mostly just to help lock down the board. The win cons are: aetherflux reservoir, getting off Bolas' ultimate, and Colossus of Akros dealing combat damage. The only creature that doesn't die upon entry is Colossus outside of Nicol Bolas of course. That is because he is indestructible and can survive most of our boardwipes as a result. The plan is to play mana rocks, draw cards, remove creatures that attack us, counter game-breaking spells, get down Bolas and transform him, then control the board either through creature removal, or the hard lock of stasis + Ral Zarek. There are two insane artifacts that help keep the board clear of creatures: Noetic Scales and portcullis. If the game goes long, this deck often pulls out the win, but it isn't made to win quickly, but rather to grind out games and crush the opponents will to play. Happy Games.
