I don't think Genesis Hydra is a good fit on this deck....yes you can put a planewalker on board but there's too much left to random side of the game. You cast a 7 mana 5/5 genesis to try to get a 5 mana planewalker on board. Thx 8bitmiso

It's what happens after the casting that actually matters haha. First off, you're having trouble with Esper control (or control in general I assume?) The top tier Esper decks can only get rid off planeswalkers by means of Detention Sphere or Dissolve ing the walker when it's cast. If you pay an extra two green mana for Genesis Hydra you bypass the counter spells because you can put the permanent onto the field even if your hydra is countered. (You just lose the 5/5 beatstick.) Now, if you pay only 5 for the (x), you are open to getting anything that is 5 CMC or lower. (If you were to run Underworld Connections over Read the Bones , you now have free card draw. You can grab a Liliana Vess to force your opponent, who is playing control, to discard a valuable Supreme Verdict or possibly a Sphinx's Revelation (or force them to tap out and cast it.) Perhaps you've played a planeswalker and they already Detention Sphere 'd it. You can pull out a Banishing Light to get your walker back and start pressuring the game. Genesis Hydra also has extreme synergy with Courser of Kruphix because if there's a card sitting on the top of your deck you'd like to cast, you only have to pay that much mana. That what I have to say for that. Now, other changes to your deck that I would recommend are: run Putrefy in the mainboard over Silence the Believers , 3 cmc is easier to cast than 4. Leave that to the sideboard if you are in extreme need of creature removal in the local meta. I think take out the random Polukranos, World Eater and Desecration Demon and run either 2 more Courser of Kruphix for ramp and deck thinning. If you run 4x Courser, than do play Underworld Connections over Read the Bones . Remove Nissa, Worldwaker as she has little to no synergy with the deck. RE: her +1's: Having 4/4 tramplers are great, but if your opponent plays a big creature and you decide to -3 your Elspeth, Sun's Champion you're saying goodbye to your land base. 2nd, you are only running 4 "forests" out of 24 lands, so her second +1 does you no good. I would cut Ajani Steadfast if you're only using him to plus your other planeswalkers. Rarely will you have control over the game to play multiple planeswalkers (I say this from experience and play testing with Ajani Steadfast) to use his -2. You don't have enough creatures for his +1 to be effective. In place of your cut 4 drops, (Ajani Steadfast, D. Demon, and Poluk,) you can run 4x Advent of the Wurm which is a fantastic 5/5 trampler at an instant speed. That's what I have to say about the deck for nowwww. Hope you don't take my comments too harshly, I'm just trying to help out haha.

thx a lot 8bitmiso, that's the kind of comment i really like. That's funny that you talk about Advent of the Wurm cause i just play it tonigh before i read your comment and it made the cut for sure. I will play test with Genesis Hydra but biggest threat from esper control last time was Planar Cleansing . I will thing about your comment and give you feedback. thx again

ok did a PTQ this weekend:
Not did really well cause of misplays and bad draws
Game 1 : vs GW aggro 0 -2 loss
Loss first one cause of Ajani, caller of beast. Second need a black source and stick with 3 hero's downfall in hand :(conclusion: i could have win this with my deck
Game 2 : vs slivers 1-2 lossWorst misplay ever when he got 3 predatory on board when i got elspeth in hand, i block a predatory with poluk so i couldn't whip board next turn. Win second easilly with bile blight and loss third without a removal for hivelordconclusion: bad decision and bad draw kill vs aggro deck like slivers
Game 3: vs rakdos weird midrange 2-1 winOnly loss due to rakdos's return. His deck was lacking of creatures for a domrie and xenagos god deck...conclusion: i should have add duress from sideboard
Game 4 : vs mono Blue 2-0Really easy wins, no problem with masters of waves with removal from my deck. But his decks didn't had Thassa or i didn't see it...conclusion: always win vs poor players
Game 5: vs "pain in the ass" elixir control 0-2 lossI give first one after 3 sphinx so i got time for sideboarding. Almost win second with Vraska assassin but he negate my golgari charm, damn. Add 7 sideboard cards almost only for this deck but it still a really hard deck to play.conclusion: wait until rotation cause this deck will die (by the way the guy wins qualification)
I think i will give Silence the Believers a chance and try with 25 lands. Also thinking about playing only 1 urborg.

Ok, i need help for sideboarding cause this is hard...
Got problem against aggro decks: 2x Drown in Sorrow , 2x Nyx-Fleece Ram , 1x Bow of Nylea -1x Garruk, Apex Predator and i'm always wondering what to get out...
against midrange, monsters: can add 1x Arbor Colossus , 1x Liliana Vess , 2x Thoughtseize , 1x Hero's Downfall
againt courser: 1x Erase , 1x Suspension Field , 1x Deicide
Need help to build a list of match-up sideboarding....thx

Just fix mana base and 3 games played. It need 5-7 turns... but don't give it cause you will cry :)
