You are right. I am going to remove many of the higher cost control cards, as well as the Lunarch Inquisitors. I really like that new card Hanweir Militia Captain.
Thanks for the advice!

On a side note, I was only running 1-of Descend upon the Sinful because I wanted to see how it played, but it's not as good as I thought it was going to be.

Here, look at this article, specificially the mono white aggro deck list near the beginning. That can give you a good starting point (or even blueprint tbh.)
March 25, 2016 9:28 a.m.
That isn't really the deck I'm trying to build, but thanks anyway.

I feel like Avacyn and Hanweir Militia Captain have huge anti-synergy with one another. How do you deal with that?
March 26, 2016 1:42 a.m.
Well, usually I am able to win very quickly if Avacyn flips. Unless the opponent has a flyer that is larger than a 3/3, it deals 9 damage instantly.

But the day side of Avacyn is the best part, because when I cast it it gives all my tokens indestructible. So actually it does have synergy with Hanweir Militia Captain.

Languish = gg. Think about answers for control decks like this one. SOI - Esper Super Friends

Try to get a sac effect in there, like Call the Bloodline. That could set up some easy plays. It could give you control of when avacyn flips, you can even flip her the turn she comes in, wiping the board while your creatures are still indestructible.

woops, didnt realize that was a discard effect, instead of sac. There's plenty of sac options though, such as Vampiric Rites

I would highly recommend Evolving Wilds. Really helps trigger delirium early.
Also Dead Weight would be nice for the same reason.

I've been thinking about going to 24 lands, but I think I'll play Warped Landscape instead of Evolving Wilds so that I can sac it when I don't immediately need mana.
Dead Weight seems really good; I didn't think until now that it helped to enable delerium... I might swap it for a Reave Soul.

I suggest Read the Bones for dig and draw, Dead Weight for cheap early removal and adding to delirium, Evolving Wilds for mana fix and putting a land in your graveyard, Thraben Gargoyle Flip or Hangarback Walker for enchantment/creature and early defenders, and Planar Outburst since it is cheaper and it synergizes well with Ever After rather than Descend upon the Sinful.

I think I am actually going to take out Ever After over another copy of Pick the Brain, so I don't really want to add Planar Outburst.
Thraben Gargoyle Flip seems really good; I think I'll play 1-of.

I still don't want to play Read the Bones, but maybe I'll add it because people keep suggesting it.

I'd recommend going back to 24 or even 25 lands. I'd probably make the additional 2 more copies of Evolving Wild so you can get that land type in the graveyard. I think Immolating Glare is just better than Murderous Compulsion. I would also consider Read the Bones, as your deck has so many 1-2 ofs, it can help you filter into what you actually want/need or find the type of spell you're missing for delirium.
May 4, 2016 4:41 p.m.
Okay, I'm finally adding Read the Bones. But only because it's a much, much better inclusion than Thraben Gargoyle Flip (I'm not sure why I even put that card in there).

since you have a delirium sub-theme, i think you should add Sinister Concoction to the deck. it is great removal, not limited to tapped or attacking creatures, and it enables delirium.

weter123 I was originally running 2-of, but I took them out because I needed less removal and more hand disruption, and Vessel of Malignity seemed like a better choice. Also, the discard effect is very annoying, because I don't play madness.

Thinking about taking this to states soon, after buying some Kalitas, Traitor of Ghets.

As of now you're only non-removal spells to cast off a Yaheeni's Expertise is 2 Wasteland Stranglers (which is part removal too), Topplegeist, and Harsh Scrutiny. That can be fine to finish big dudes off, but you may want some other decent permanents to advance your board after casting it.

Not only is this deck awful, it's also confusing to look at because you added the night sides of the cards. Amazing job!
Lunarch inquisitors and all the equipment are just bad.
Topplegeist and 6 drops have no place in the same deck. Choose aggro, midrange or control. Right now this deck is trying to do all of them and as a result can't do any of them.
