Gideon, Ally of Zendikar does nothing that this deck wants to do. His ultimate is useless, the token is eh at best and his plus one provides a clock sure, but when I'm down or needing to fish for an answer, he does absolutely nothing. Furthermore, without fetches, when you build a 3 color deck you should try to never have 3 different colored double costed cards. Black and red are too important to making the rest of the deck function so white is the light color of the deck. Finally, the first few versions did run Gideon... And everytime I drew him and I wasn't already winning, I felt sad. When a card causes that reaction its time to cut it in my book. He's definitely good, but he just doesn't belong here.

pax.wellington lol thanks, I built this deck for Kaladesh standard so it was a lot better there. Disallow does wreck the deck now so I haven't played it nearly as much. Back when I did play it however it did fine against control once it landed a walker, once the first walker landed I could usually leverage it into a win.

Wait why don't you have Gideon, Ally of Zendikar it's the best plansewalker in standard and maybe ever. It may not be controlled, but it still is worth at least having one of.
