Sideboard thought process:

I def wanted 2 Fumigates in the deck but since a lot of my control comes from creatures instead of instant/sorceries like the typical control theme, I elicited to split them to the sideboard. I may rethink this since I can instead go 4x Selfless Spirits to meditate any worries I have of hurting myself with sweepers.

Aerial Responder is good against spirits and other fast decks with the ability to play off/def in the air while sustaining life. This might be worthy of main deck but I ran out of space.

Cataclysmic Gearhulk: I split these as well like Fumigates.

Gideon is good for grinder matchups where it can become a race with other control decks and the like.

Skysovereign is another good finisher to side in when I need more threats.

The rest of the sideboard are specific counter magics for different matchups.
