A deck I started to build right as I took a break from Magic. It never got finished. Mostly made out of things I had on hand at the time, so I haven't bothered acquiring much for it. I'm scavenging several of the cards for commander decks, so this is mostly just to record its composition before I do.
Inspiration: I played weenie decks when I first started, including Soul Sisters. Red decks were big around that time (and Lightning Bolt was Standard legal), so most of the time my creatures died before I could build up a board. From then on I wanted to make a deck that stopped my opponent from touching me or my creatures at all.
This is a very messy implementation of that idea. Several things could be refined. A couple search effects would be welcome, and the deck is begging for two or three Privileged Positions.
The deck takes some mechanics of Turbo Fog - Fog (or equivalent) anything that moves, and use Otherworld Atlas and Temple Bell to fill up your hand. Milling your opponent with the draw is a side-effect, but not the main strategy. Fog effects buy time to find Leyline of Sanctity and Asceticism, after which you can throw down a Primordial Hydra. Let it sit and get big for a few turns, then swing out. Alternatively, getting counters on a Luminarch's Ascension typically isn't hard after pulling out the Leyline. My heart isn't set on any particular win condition- as long as the core of the deck does its job in keeping you untouchable, any common win condition should be easily achievable.
Vexing Shusher is the answer to decks that want to counter your spells. Asceticism's cheap regeneration deals with most simple board wipe. Dawn Charm and Selesnya Charm shove a lot of versatility into single spells, and pair fantastically with Isochron Scepter. Noxious Revival + Temple Bell puts anything in your graveyard back to your hand, for 0 mana if necessary.
