Looking for help on making this more competetive (as much as having a 9 CMC commander can be). I usually rely on drawing into Aetherflux Reservoir, and can tutor for Temur Sabertooth/Sanctum of Eternity, but most “combos” are more luck that I drew into them than anything else.

Ways to Win

• Zacama, Primal Calamity by commander damage

• Zacama, Primal Calamity+Sanctum of Eternity/Temur Sabertooth+Impact Tremors

• Polyraptor+Marauding Raptor+Impact Tremors

• Mayael's Aria+Blackblade Reforged (or can be sped up with Heliod, Sun-Crowned or Shalai, Voice of Plenty for adding extra +1/+1 counters on)

• Aetherflux Reservoir after using Zacama+Sanctum/Sabertooth for infinite life, or Spike Feeder+Heliod, Sun-Crowned

Voltron

While no longer a combat-oriented deck, it’d be a waste not to take advantage of a 9/9 trample-vigilance commander.

• land based (that can also be tutored out the most easily): Rogue's Passage, Kessig Wolf Run, and Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion

• adding plus counters through Shalai, Voice of Plenty and Heliod, Sun-Crowned

• ways of boosting the damage dealt in combat: Aurelia, the Warleader, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Xenagos, God of Revels, and can equip Blackblade Reforged or use Boros Charm (the double strike choice)

Then of course there’s ways to protect Zacama.

• Temur Sabertooth, Boros Charm (indestructible choice), Asceticism, and Bear Umbra

• preemptively help Zacama and other creatures hit the board with Rhythm of the Wild

Control the board

• Zacama, Primal Calamity

• Naya Charm to tap down any nasty tap abilities or prevent an attack

• Austere Command and Ajani, Strength of the Pride to board wipe if necessary

• Beast Within, Generous Gift, Sundering Growth, Angel of Sanctions for spot removal

Infinite Mana

start with Zacama, Primal Calamity + Sanctum of Eternity/Temur Sabertooth and you can start the bounce-and-replaying of Zacama.

either use that for infinite mana to gain infinite life, shoot people for 50 with Aetherflux Reservoir

or play Impact Tremors, then keep recasting Zacama (extra mana doesn’t matter for this) and ping an opponent every time

or play Elemental Bond, and every time you recast Zacama, draw a card. Draw out Rhythm of the Wild, and use the mana to cast as many creatures as possible, give them haste, and trample over everyone

As much as I love Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, he’s gotta be put to the side. The trick to becoming archenemy is that there is no trick - play Vorinclex, get hate.

Update: this deck is turning away from creatures and combat for a slightly more control/lifegain/voltron style build, so cards are being switched to help focus more on the combos and value rather than casting big creatures.
