Seems like a good deck for Spectra Ward if I've ever seen one.

That is a great option. I would like to put it in to replace one of the arbitrary creatures (probably Invisible Stalker ). Thanks for the idea!

Indestructibility might be good too, to protected from boardwipes (including your own). She would only be removable by sacrifice or exile all efects.

God, now you've got me thinking of all kinds of awesome auras to put on her. Sunbond, Lifelink, Cloak of Invisibility, Crab Umbra. Even Indestructibility with Pariah would be hilarious.

Oh man, Pariah with Indestructibility would be so brutal--it suits Bruna perfectly! Heh... those words even have the same first few letters...Sunbond can get out of hand, with Celestial Mantle or creatures like Daxos of Meletis or Augury Adept. I like the way you think! As for Cloak of Invisibility, I thought about putting some sort of phasing in this deck for the ETB tutors like Heliod's Pilgrim. It's a less-costly Flickerform and it's definitely worth looking into! Thanks again! :D

It looks like such a fun deck. I want one now. I was thinking if you went with more angels (you already have Avacyn), you could even do Call to the Kindred.

In my initial decklist when I first formed this deck, I wanted more angels, and I did have Call to the Kindred in the list. But, the angels I got ended up being simply not as useful as other cards I replaced them with.
It could make for interesting aggro/control (here's lookin' at you, Iona, Shield of Emeria) though, and it suits Bruna's playstyle of playing things for free to get a massive power advantage :p

You probably want to take out Enchanted Evening though, because once that's down, you can no longer attach auras to her if you have Greater Auramancy. Also, Spectra Ward will prevent any further auras from being attached, so keep that in mind.

Mhm, I had that in mind. The good thing about Enchanted Evening, Greater Auramancy, and Bruna (according to the LGS) is that her effect ignores shroud because she takes auras and can just put them on, rather than cast and target. Though there will be that issue with Spectra Ward I think.

NoSoyYucateco says... #11
Oh, I guess you are right about that. I didn't notice how it was worded. Spectra Ward then shouldn't be a problem since those aren't spells targeting her.

Oh, and if you want the ultimate board wipe, do Nevinyrral's Disk while Enchanted Evening and Avacyn, Angel of Hope are down.

Traumatize and Tunnel Vision. They throw huge amounts of your deck into your yard. Then when you swing with Bruna, attach all of the auras to her for an alpha strike.

Thought about self-mill. Not a strategy I like, given that metas in which I play load up graveyard hate. Thanks though!

If you play it main phase before you attack, it shouldn't be a problem. To quote an aura you sadly can't use, "Don't laugh, it works."

I was thinking about this deck more, and I realized Enduring Ideal would be great in here. You could even run an Aura of Silence in case you ever wanted to get rid of it.

Actually, scratch that. I need to RTFC. You wouldn't be able to cast Bruna again if she got exiled, though with Greater Auramancy and plenty of protection auras it would work. It would involve a massive overhaul of the deck, I'm afraid. I might tinker with the copy I made of your deck and see how I might make it work.

Haha, TMD, Enduring Ideal and the Epic!!! I'm a huge fan of goofy things like that! I'm actually considering it!! In a Pharika deck I own, I actually have Endless Swarm which is the end-all effort, haha.

Hey, I've been working on my Bruna deck (it's still private, but I'll make it public once I feel it's ready), and I found a few more cards you'd probably love in here:
Flickering Ward: Just freaking awesome.
Red Scarab, Blue Scarab, Green Scarab, White Scarab, and Black Scarab: Super handy in that you can almost give her protection from blue and white without her losing her auras.
Skybind: One of those Constellation cards that is kind of meh in Standard but could be explosive in EDH.
Whitewater Naiads: (See above)
Sigil of the Empty Throne: Great for creature production since you obviously wouldn't run a ton of creatures in this build.
Holy Mantle: Self-explanatory.
I can't wait to actually build this thing.

Also, if you did want to go a self-mill route, Thassa's Devourer. I'm running it in my build with Feldon's Cane, Elixir of Immortality, and Cranial Archive for graveyard protection. If you don't want to self-mill with it, or aren't ready to, you can always mill others just for a bit of deck disruption. Great hate for top-deck manipulation like Sensei's Divining Top or Scroll Rack.

I'm also using Infinite Reflection so I have an army of Brunas.

I'm going for more of a self-mill approach, with Thassa's Devourer and Psychic Spiral.

One card I am looking to put in still is Winds of Rath to replace one of the taplands, maybe a few more Auras or boardwipes.
