The latest incarnation of my Artifact Commander deck, after going through Jeskai and then Grixis, went with Red/White/Blue/Black so I could maximize artifact support.

The deck works primarily through cheating out artifacts primarily with Master Transmuter, Tezzeret the Seeker, and Arcum Dagsson, and recur them with several very industrious goblins. The two Colossi add some real stopping power to the deck, allowing it to serve as a more traditional beatdown if necessary, but the primary win conditions are a pair of combos - Ashnod's Altar + Breya, Etherium Shaper + Nim Deathmantle (or Krark-Clan Ironworks!) and Thopter Assembly + Time Sieve . Lastly, there are two alternate win conditions: Hellkite Tyrant and Mirrodin Besieged (well, sort of...).

At the end of the day, it's a fun deck that can be a little slow to start, but supports a variety of playstyles.
