Real simple deck. Ramp into maelstrom / other value cards, use them. Abuse the value that they give you. Use Scroll Rack, Worldly Tutor, Brainstorm, and Sensei's Divining Top to stack your deck with maelstrom. Stroming into other cascade cards (Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty, Shardless Agent), Genesis Ultimatum, or big threats like Pathbreaker Ibex and Karn Liberated can be especially devastating for opponents, and if you do end up rolling into these then you should try to use scroll rack, worldly tutor, or top to make them even more brutal. A lot of the time, rolling into threats Pathbreaker Ibex, Consecrated Sphinx, etc. will likely cause an immediate reaction from opponents, and if they clear your board then 9 times out of 10 you can get back into the fray by just casting maelstrom again.

Win-cons include steamrolling opponents with creatures, infinite turns (Eternal Witness + Ilharg, the Raze-Boar + Time Warp ), Shaman of Forgotten Ways, looping into Nexus of Fate *list*, Tooth and Nail into something like Avenger of Zendikar + Pathbreaker Ibex , or giving Body of Research trample.

If you feel like making the deck more competitive, try swapping in counter-spells and cards like Food Chain, Jeweled Lotus and Survival of the Fittest. Just a few additions like this can push the deck into overload. I personally don't, either because I don't own / probably won't own these cards, or because I find them to be unfair in casual play.
