Infinite mana? you can Exsanguinate, Debt to the Deathless or Death Grasp

4 card infinite combos aren't plausible. Nor would it make sense to remove any of my utility or more efficient win cons to make room for those.

I'm with vault on that one TehChuckles, they are cute little combos... but cute doesn't mean efficient.
That being said.... Necromancy instead of Unburial Rites? One cmc less, and it's also recurring with Sun Titan, can also be played at instant speed for those certain occasions?
Also idk maybe Doubling Season instead of Cathars' Crusade. Idk which is better in your deck over all honestly, I think doubling season > with ghave out. Idk if you ran it yet, or tested it.

Animate Dead Forgot that as well. It's 1 mana cheaper than what I posted above, and can be recurred by sun titan as well, or anything you have in general, and it's not getting exiled after 1 time reuse. Just another idea, depends on how you wanna do it. Granted if the enchantment dies.. well oh well.. the creature dies, but just sac it to something and get use out of it regardless.

@KillTheIslandUser: You bring up some good suggestions. The reason I'm playing Unburial Rites alone and not other reanimation spells is because I liked getting two uses out of a single piece of utility. The ability to reanimate Animate Dead with Sun Titan sounds like pure value, and may be something I try out. Thanks for that one.
I don't play Doubling Season because it doesn't actually help me win the game. It's not part of my win conditions, and only serves as a target on my head.
Cathars' Crusade is on the short list of cards to come out.

@KillTheIslandUser, Well I guess you answered my question. Thanks for the feature, accidental or otherwise. If ever I get another feature token, I'll feature something of yours.

SCORE: 4 | 0 COMMENTS | 301 VIEWSThis deck originally featured Anafenza and like 1 week ago I changed it to Ghave, and it's how I found your deck. I was perusing Tappedout and mtgsalvation looking at other decks. Seeing if I could get some more creative juice out. Feel free to look, you don't have to +1 or anything. My deck is different than yours though.

Because Attrition is really not that good of a card. It requires a heavy investment and doesn't cover much ground. I'd rather play something worth my time for 3 mana, like Vindicate.
April 16, 2015 12:12 p.m.
I played another Ghave deck, but it didnt have as many combos. It was more of a token deck. they had it pretty good, the main cards that beefed up the tokens were Gavony Township. The main win was Vraska the Unseen. These 2 cards might help, more so the land.
April 17, 2015 11:57 a.m.
I considered Vraska for the utility it provides, but neither of the cards really help with my combos. Thanks for the feedback.

I really like the look of the deck and plan on using it sometime. But I don't like the fact that you pretty much have to guarantee certain cards, albeit that there are a lot of the certain cards so it is not much of a problem. Maybe add more tutor based cards to get your deck out faster but I have no idea what I would trade out for them. Personally I wouldn't rely on the blasting station combo because it relies having so much control of the stack and being able to explain how you're setting the stack which isn't always easy. Other than those it looks like it would work amazingly unless someone was using a full counter/mill deck and happened to hit the right cards to cripple you.
April 18, 2015 3:32 p.m.
@Modmar: Thanks for the feedback. There are actually quite a few tutors in here, so it's not really hard to fetch the combo pieced I need. This deck was meant to be played in multiplayer, and mill is weak against multiple opponents. And in general.
Admittedly this deck would be stronger if it had access to blue, but I have a decent amount of control in here.

what about Martyr's Bond? It's redundant with Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos and has the additional benefit of possibly hitting artifacts and/or enchantments (even if it is for a less efficient cost)?
April 20, 2015 1:57 a.m.
I just saw you had Martyr's Bond in your history already as well as Reassembling Skeleton, which I was going to suggest. But how about Pawn of Ulamog? It can facilitate recursive combos for infinite mana/death triggers
April 20, 2015 2:11 a.m.
@LuxUltima: Thanks for the feedback, as well as taking the time to really look at the deck. The reason I don't play Martyr's Bond is solely because of the mana cost. It's just too expensive. The only reason I play Dictate is because of flash.
Pawn of Ulamog is an interesting card, but the nontoken clause is a deal breaker. I just don't have enough recursion to make him worth it. Yes, it can go infinite with a few things in here, but it would be 4 card infinite combos, which are just too hard to assemble.

i know your deck is pretty finely tuned at this point so maybe you don't need anymore removal but i've found both Snuff Out and Dismember to be good options as people don't generally see those coming the first few times
April 22, 2015 5:54 p.m.
@someguy5587, those are actually some decently viable removal options. I would play the both of those if I were playing a two color B/x deck. Being in WBG means I have access to the strongest removal ever printed though. Thanks for the feedback.

@DaftVader: Twilight Drover seems plausible, but that's already a three card infinite combo that doesn't win the game. What am I supposed to do with infinite mana?
