We eat!

This deck revolves around two simple objectives:

1) Ramp hard to get Borborygmos out early and kill everything and everyone by discarding lands. Get the lands back with recursion to do it all over again. Putting Snake Umbra or Keen Sense on Borborygmos draws you cards while he stomps around. With Abundance out you can name land every time so that the land draws never end. Big time recursion with Praetor's Counsel and Creeping Renaissance lets you do it all over again.

2) Tutor up Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle with cards like Crop Rotation, Sylvan Scrying, and of course Scapeshift, then start dishing out landfall damage. With Dryad of the Ilysian Grove or Prismatic Omen makes sure that every land entering the battlefield is a lightning bolt. Bringing in Vesuva doubles the bolt triggers. Akoum Hellkite is a mini Valakut.

I've added a few fog effects to hold off attacks until a combo has been set up, and Jaheira's Respite is absolutly perfect for this deck.

Adding colored mana from Grove of the Burnwillows allows you to recur Punishing Fire.
