Do you like to kill things?
There are alot of things you can do with Prossh, you can do combo. you can do aggro, you can do Voltron. A lot of generals can be used to do what I want, however I chose Prossh because he is by far the best general in these colors. i decided to not to do combo oriented or aggression or Voltron( though my friend disagrees with me on the last one) I don't run monstrous creatures that are meant to beatstick because no one gets creatures, I dont run many Enchantments becasue if it's colored and wants to win then it dies. My artifacts are limited because i like to kill them all, repeatedly. Nothing lives, EVER. You wanna know why i like prossh, becasue his harbinger of destruction is the differnt kind for what i have in mind. Rocking with more kill spells, more utility then the average mono-black deck, more diversty then 5 color good-stuff lies my deck. nothing goes in without it having 3+ uses or having enough efficiency to pull its own weight. And without further ado allow me to introduce the efforts of 400 hours and 6 months. I give you KILL ALL THE THINGS!
Lets begin by explaining the uses of the deck, since this is a reactive play-style vs an active play-style.to begin with we have
Artifacts
Chromatic lantern. Mana excellerant, mana fixer, soaks up removal targets what more could you want?Darksteel ingot standard staple, doesnt dieto my constant board wipes and adds a nice amount of mana on top of it.Expedition map, first turn play, gives the illusion of aggression, of strength as well as offering a way to get some of the lands i need like cabal coffers or urborg or copy lands. all of these are great targets.Nevinyrrl's disk, the first board wipe and one of the best, sure it comes into play tapped but it hits enough to deal with most problems. Oblivion Stone. Similar to disk but i have the option to make my stuff not die or use it politically. Also really cheap to put into play sometimes as a scare tactic.Sol ring, Do i even need to explain...CreaturesAvenger of Zendikar. Win con threat filled and adds things to the commander damge hits people for massive amounts of damage, and has a nice body on itself anyways. Bane of Progress, A new one but extremely good first off not only does it have the capability of killing all permanents thanks to those guys with the mycosynth lattices or enchanted evenings but anything that likes to have artifacts and it is always big in multi-player. by far the absolute best artifact enchantment wipe in the game.Disciple of bolas. Draw spell, and the life gain is also helpful. GReat to balance out the life loss form necropotense or possibly from being ganged on. Eternal witness, Creature+recursion. Recursion is extremely useful bringing back board wipes or bringing back the artifact enchantment killers that make up my amazing creature board.Hellkite tyrant. Unfortuneatly since i don't have a Karn yet this was the next best thing. Its a beatstick, alternate win condition, and my only awnesr to a resolved darksteel forge. If i could have it any other way right now i would. Mikaeus, The part of a three part infinite combo that i have, fortunately he is also used to make my things not die to soak up evasion make my kobolds bigger and bring back my things in case i want to counter a mycosynth lattice with a bane.Purphorous, indestructable, not alwasy a creature, hard to kill. Rediculously stubborn and makes my kobolds and prossh more deadly. havent got much use out of him lately but thats a luck of the draw issue.Runescarred demon. A 6/6 flyer for 5 mana and a demonic tutor for the other part. Well then, I'm in what about you. Sakura tribe elder, Chump blocker, ramp artist and ive one by attacking wiht him before so all in all a good creature to have on board.Terastodon, This used to be the biggest target for my tooth and nail, still really good, 9/9 beatstick and utitilty destruction, im suprised not as many people run this gemstone. Woodfall primus, my replacement for the beloved sylvan primordial, and ive gotten much more use out of it, initially my biggest target for tooth and nail now works as a part of the single infinite combo i run. plus utitity rattlesnake.Xenagos, god of revels. Turn 5 Xenagos. Turn 6 Prossh someone dies horribly. 'nuff said.Yavimaya elder, The fleshy Simulcrum that is not only cheaper but gets me more land AND draws me cards. YES PLEASE. Enchanments:Animate dead: to be honest i wasnt so sure about this at first, but since i killed about 50 things each game and i sometimes need to bring back old favorites and this was the way to do it.Necromancy: See animate dead only at instant speedNecropotense: As mentioned before we play reactively meaning we sometimes need some extra advantage, this was my awswer to that, and i thought i might as well go for the best. Pernicious deed.Probably the best delayed boardwipe in the game, cheap effective killes token for 3 mana and everything else later. by far the best enchantment in here.Phyrexian ArenaWatered down necropotense is still really really potent.INSTANTSBeast within: green remvoal hits abosultuely everything thant isnt hexproof, shorouded, or indestructable. absolutely amazoing cardchaos warp, does all the beast within does and gets rid of commanders for a whileHeroes downfall, kills all creatures you normally would want instant speed and hits walkersKrosan grip, Best enchantent artifact remvoal ever and probably will ever be, i wish there were more split second but ah well. Putrefy: see heroes downfall but apply artifactssilence the belivers, exiles, multitargeted and moderatly cheap, yeah ill bite oh and permantly kills almost everything.Slaughter pactFree removal..... ****ING FREE REMOVALSudden deathhmm, Split second kill a creature, for three mana. you cant make it bigger, you cant counter it you cant even blink it.Terminiate cheap non egenerating removal yes i need thatUnravel The AEther tucks away darksteel forge, and gods, and blightsteel.LANDSmmost of these are self explanatory ask in the comments on some that may be questionablekher keep, token producerReliquary tower infintie handStrip mine and edge utilitycopy lands bring out what i need and fix and glaciers is a great big mana fixer.PlaneswalkersLiliana vess repeateable tutor spellliliana of dark realms repeatable land tutor and removla spell.Sorin markov. Yeah im gonna make your life total a quarter of what it was and theres pretty much nothing you can do about it, have a nice day.Sorcery All is dust, Best board wipe in the game. Kills indestructibles, stops regeneration, Hexproof, Shroud, artifacts, enchantments, and even some artifacts. Almost nothing lives against this world consuming beast of a spellRight now im a bit burned ouot but i will be back to finish my list
