I like this deck and the ability to untap and pop your commander and other creatures around. Might i suggest instead of Mind Control, Clever Impersonator, It is one mana cheaper and has the ability to copy off all his non land peppermints. Or if you would prefer to keep the enchantment control perhaps Treachery . Its as good as it gets

I like both of those cards, I just haven't picked them up yet. I'll add them to my list here so I don't forget them while looking for my next cards to pick up. I may just keep all 3! insert evil laugh here

I did have some clone creatures in the original build but they got cut due to more cards that I use to take from my opponents. Why copy your creatures, when I can just take them!!

Thanks! I think I have one, but opted not to include it because it returns under the owner's control.

I'll reconsider it though, flashback is always nice.

Well you don't Momentary Blink a creature you stole with Merieke... you use it on Merieke or as a way to save her from removal, or to untap her to steal another target. When Merieke gets exiled, the creature she's controlling gets moved to the opponent's control then immediately destroyed by the trigger. Merieke comes back untapped with summoning sickness but you can use her again next turn. I also run Coffin Queen in my Merieke deck... you could just steal their creatures directly from their graveyard after all this lol.

I have Coffin Queen on my list to get for other decks and it would fit nicely here.

With the flicker effects, I chose to go more into the untap effects so I could use Merieke again without the summoning sickness. There have been times that I have grabbed and killed 4+ creatures in response to spells. I do like the card it is just on the bubble of what to keep and cut (if I could have 101 cards) for my play group.

Ayesha Tanaka is another one on the bubble, but I have used it multiple times to lock down the pesky artifacts. I've kept a Nevinyrral's Disk from going off for several turns due to the white mana requirement. Which is why it is still in the deck.

Have you considered running Spelltwine? For 6 mana and two spells (one of your steal spells and one of their spells), I think this is worth a look. I run it in my steal deck and it can put in some work, especially in larger games.

I do have it in other decks. I can't remember if I've considered it for this deck or not, I will now though!!

Yeah it is a fun bomb of a card to play!!!
