Just saw the new nicol-bolas, thought it was too evil not to make it my new edh deck. My meta just prints proxies so price is no consideration. I'm mostly in it for the early and reliable discard, so thats a theme (blinking, etc). I only play games with 3-6 players, so mass discard is effective at keeping people down. Later game use his ability and get a scary planeswalker. Some cool creatures/planeswalkers with counterspells to stop and mess things along the way. I also have some enchantments that seem to always do well in my meta. Keep in mind 1v1 style speed isn't quite as necessary. Always a major work in progress... Also building for max fun in often very political games. I am leaving out certain cards that make people a target in my meta as well.

A few combos:

I use Firemind's Foresight -> Lightning Bolt, Reset, Reiterate for a mass kill spell.

Mana Web + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth = Opponents having 1 mana per turn

Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter + mana rocks for hella mana
